Hi! My name is Alexis. I’ve been a postpartum overnight doula since 2019. Taking care of newborns and postpartum families is my passion. I really enjoy being able to cater to each family no matter what their preferences are i.e. bottle/formula/BM etc. I have 4 kids of my own and when I’m not working I’m somewhere at a sporting event with them!

I am a postpartum doula with over 20 years of experience as a certified nurse-midwife in Japan. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to supporting mothers, newborns, fathers, and other family members. I am also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2007, with a strong passion for assisting mothers with breastfeeding. Additionally, I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology and have worked as a certified public psychologist in Japan, focusing specifically on the prevention of perinatal depression. My name is Andrea Verner, and for nearly two decades I have been helping families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula and Lactation Educator. I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 11 grandchildren. My mission is to provide expectant parents with the tools and resources they need to have a safe and healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. My goal is that you remember your experiences fondly and consider it an honor to assist you both at your birth and postpartum period. Over the years I have worked primarily with twins in a postpartum capacity and love sharing my experience to help you become an expert yourself! Knowledge transfer is always my goal.

I love my job! Supporting parents through labor, birth and postpartum is amazing, and rewarding, and what I feel called to do. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator and a lactation educator. Having an understanding of your options is a big part of preventing birth trauma. Educating parents about how they can better navigate their labor and the medical system is a big part of what I do. I support folks emotionally, physically, with information/resources, and with advocacy (and photo documentation of their labor). We usually have some fun too!
