I had a very traumatic birth for my first child. Catholine made this experience so much more memorable and meaningful. Catholine is unmatched in how she holds space and provides comfort. The graceful and confident way that she approaches every single moment is indescribable. She's right there with you and making sure you have every thing that you need and more. She is also amazing at counter pressure and helping you get through it. One contraction, one moment at a time. She provides the love and care that every mom, new or existing, didn't know she needed. Im so overjoyed that I get to look back on this experience and smile. My heart will be forever full. Thank you so much!

Let me begin by saying Catholine was an angel sent to me because she came at just the right time. This was my first pregnancy and I was in a foreign country with no family around. I had no idea what to expect about childbirth, but with her we started the journey together and she supported me every step of the way. She stood up for me and helped me ask questions during my clinic visits when I felt unheard. She kept me calm, especially during my epidural when I was extremely scared. Even after delivery she visited me, brought things to help me was better, and shared many helpful learning materials. I am forever grateful for her kindness, support, and dedication. Sincerely, Agnes Njeri

We cannot thank Cathy enough for being our rock through two separate pregnancy and birth journeys. What truly sets her apart is her incredible ability to bridge cultural differences with grace and ease. From our very first meeting, her cheerful personality made us feel instantly comfortable and understood. During the most intense moments of labor, she wasn't just a support person; she was a powerful advocate who ensured our voices were heard and our wishes respected. Having her by our side for both of our children’s births brought a sense of peace and continuity that we will always treasure. If you are looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, kind, and deeply relatable, Cathy is the very best.

I absolutely adore Catholine ! My first ever pregnancy experience wasn't the greatest but she was the one person that made it all better ! I was worried about possibly giving birth by myself , not having anyone by my side and we met about two weeks before I gave birth and during that time she was very informative and was there with me every step of the way guiding me. I felt so blessed to have her ! I went to triage multiple times in the middle of the night and her phone was on speed dial . When my mucus plug came out , I didn't understand it was because I was experiencing early labour and could be pushing my baby out in the next couple of days. Everything just went amazing having Catholine by my side. I initially didn't want an epidural but I'm so glad that I did get it one ! I was trying to be stubborn and hold off on it but I'm so glad I trusted my body and Catholine reminding me that it's alright to do so. If Catholine wasn't in the room with me , guiding me , I honestly don't know how I would've been because I was pretty scared and her presence was calming and she was soothing me during it all. If I ever plan on having a bigger family, I would love to have her again ! I recommend her for anyone who's needs a doula, friends and family you will all adore her ! Her vibe is amazing and trust that she's angel sent !

I had a wonderful experience with Catholine! The only issue was that I didn't utilize her more! As a first time mama I thought I knew what a doula was but i definitely didn't know the extent of the care I had access to. I had very long and painful early labor and Catholine showed up and helped me immensely by rocking my hips, tens machine, and other laboring techniques. I was telling my husband "i couldn't do it and I want the drugs" but when she showed up and equipped me with laboring tools and encouraged me, I felt like a new woman going into labor. while at the hospital she was kind, attentive, and nurturing to me. My favorite thing Catholine did was include my husband in the whole process. She jokingly teased him in moments we needed a laugh. She knows how to read a room and where she is needed in that room, figuratively and literally! Practically she gave me laboring tools for early labor, spoke up for me and got me into a room early, helped me progress from 5cm-10cm in about 5 hours. While in active labor she instructed and encouraged both my husband and I. Gave me drinks, cold compresses, I think a comb at one point, Etc. She even took photos and I am extremely thankful she did! I had a beautiful natural birth with minimal tearing. Lastly, at one point I went to the bathroom and labored for a while and I overheard more of Catholine's story, as she was sharing with my husband and I was Impressed and Inspired. She became a part of our little family for those three beautifully tough days. I plan on having her be my doula for future births.

I had a wonderful experience with Catholine as my doula. She was very kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout my pregnancy and birth. She was there for me the entire time—before, during, and after birth —which made a huge difference. One of the things I appreciated most was how many beautiful pictures she took during my birth. Those memories mean a lot to me. She really put in the effort to make sure I felt comfortable, supported, and happy, and I’m so grateful for everything she did.

Catholine is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I’ve ever met. As a first-time mom, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a vision of a natural birth and researched breathing techniques to stay calm during labor. At our first meeting, Catholine asked thoughtful, challenging questions—ones I hadn’t even considered. Looking back, I’m so grateful she prepared me for the unexpected hospital birth and C-section I never thought I’d have. Throughout the entire process, Catholine made sure my husband and I had everything we needed—often before we even realized we needed it. She went above and beyond to ensure she could be with us after surgery, even when only my husband was allowed. Her postpartum support has been just as incredible. I can be stubborn about asking for help, but Catholine never let me go without the care I needed, always checking in and offering support in ways that felt natural and reassuring. Having Catholine by our side during one of the most important moments of our lives was an absolute blessing. I cannot recommend her enough!

Catholine was so intuitive with the care she provided during my labor. She took such good care of me, gave me a foot massage, lotion socks and just had all the tools to make my labor manageable. She made sure my wishes were heard and my birth plan was followed so well thanks to her. She even made sure my partner and mom were taken care of. She's so funny too, and laughter through pain is always needed! Such a wonderful human and doula.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support Catholine accorded me. From our very first meeting, she was warm, knowledgeable, and truly listened to my needs and birth preferences. Her calming presence and reassuring words gave me the confidence I needed every step of the way. During labor, Catholine was an absolute rock. She guided me through breathing techniques, offered soothing comfort measures, and ensured my partner felt involved and supported as well. Even when I had to change the birth plan, she remained calm and helped me navigate everything with grace. Her knowledge, kindness, and dedication made my birthing experience so much more positive and empowering. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula, and I highly recommend Catholine to any expecting parents looking for compassionate and professional support.

Catholine Look served as my birth and post partum doula and I am profoundly grateful to her. While I cannot fully describe the benefit I received from her service in 2000 characters, my brief description is that Catholine is a knowledgeable and caring advocate to her clients. Catholine has many years of experience in the medical profession generally and birth work in particular. As a patient, there were times that I was overwhelmed by my hospital experience. Catholine was helpful in creating space for me to ask questions of my medical providers so that I could make informed decisions. Simply, Catholine knows her stuff and helped me not get railroaded. She pushed to make sure that my providers were providing the care that I needed. There were many aspects of my pregnancy, labor/delivery and postpartum period that were stressful as a first time mother. Catholine listened to me as a shared my fears and concerns and as well my excitment and joy. I truly believe that I am a better mother because of working with Catholine.

She is an amazing doula to work with. I never felt alone. She has been so helpful to my husband and me. Additionally, she has always kept us informed and shared different useful resources with my family, just to make my experience better as a first-time mom in a foreign country. I recommend her to anyone looking for a positive energy person, charming, easygoing, loving, and kind doula.

I can't say enough about how incredible Catholine was as our doula. Her calming presence and wealth of knowledge made all the difference during such an important time in our lives. From our first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and empowered, always listening to our needs and providing unwavering support. During labor, Catholine was a steady, reassuring guide, helping us navigate each stage with confidence and care. Her compassion, patience, and encouragement were invaluable, and we truly couldn't have done it without her. We are forever grateful for her being a part of our birth journey. Catholine was honestly the best doula I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I've been a labor and delivery nurse for 9 years and have had many experiences working with various doulas. Catholine was not only supportive towards the patient, but to me the nurse as well. She was so intune to what the patient needed, and checked in with me with what she could do to support me, as part of the care team, as well. There was never tension around decision making and I fully appreciated that, as there can be with some personalities. She was so present with the patient and was such a good support. I hope to work with her again in the near future. I would actually love having her at each delivery I'm at! That's how supported I felt. Thank you, Catholine!

I was the hospital nurse caring for a birthing family and Catholine brought fresh energy and ideas to support a young laboring mom. They already had a relationship of mutual trust which helped the birthing mother feel more at ease. Catholine's ideas for position changes and her emotional support made a big difference in the birth process. I would love to work with Catholine again. She also has experience doing breastfeeding support and her passion for birth and postpartum is very apparent!

Catholine has been working with me as a lactation consult for a little over 5 months now or ever since my little one has been in this world. When I say that she is amazing, I mean she is a wonderful resource, fellow mother, educator in everything baby or pregnancy, and even someone to just tell the big or little things about. She listens carefully and makes me feel comfortable in every single interaction. The only fault I have is that I wish I knew of her sooner so I could have had the wonderful experience of knowing her as a doula too! Just know if you choose Catholine she will do her best and be there every step of the way.

Hello, me and my girlfriend recently had to go through what seemed to be a nightmare of a pregnancy but turned into one of the most beautiful moments of our lives. Our first pregnancy we didn't have a doula and Catholine showed us how that was a mistake not getting one. She was an absolute angel sent to help us during the delivery. She is very understanding and I get the sense she can read people very well because she knew exactly when to help and offered great pain relieving techniques from just simply moving or adding pressure is different spots. I could go on for hours talking about how special she made this pregnancy but I'll keep it short and sweet. Catholine was an AMAZING doula, if we have another child we would not even hesitate to give Catholine a call to be our doula again. THANK YOU SO MUCH CATHOLINE!!
