Your comprehensive home birth package includes: Phase 1: 36-Week Home Safety Audit: On-site inspection, room climate staging, cellular/Wi-Fi verification, and stretcher access checks conducted by a Certified Birth Assistant (CNA). Phase 2: Emergency Transport Mapping: Customized, physically posted emergency transport map with verified L&D hospital drive times and local EMS dispatch numbers for total peace of mind. Phase 3: Active Birth Assisting & Cleanup: On-site NRP/CPR-certified Birth Assistant to assist your midwife during active labor, handle sacred room staging, inflate/drain birth tubs, manage labor laundry, and fully restore your home post-birth. We offer flexible care at $45/hour for in-person visits and $35/hour for virtual support. We automatically bill your card on file and send you an itemized receipt for your records at the end of each week in a Superbill Submission Packet.

What is Case Management, and how can it help my family?

Case management connects you with a dedicated specialist who helps you navigate healthcare appointments, insurance paperwork, postpartum resources, and baby supplies. Your specialist acts as your personal advocate to make sure your family has everything you need for a smooth transition home.

How do you integrate faith and prayer into your care?

Faith is at the heart of everything we do, and we offer optional in-home prayer during your visits as well as access to our 24/7 Prayer Portal. We always honor your personal comfort level and only pray with you if you request it!

What happens after I fill out the online Pre-Consultation form?

Our scheduler will personally call you within 24 hours to chat about your birth goals and book your initial consultation. Afterward, you’ll have a quick video call with your assigned specialist and their supervisor so you can meet your full care team!

When is the best time during my pregnancy to sign up?

We recommend enrolling during your first or early second trimester (12 to 20 weeks) to lock in your spot before our specialists' calendars fill up. Make sure you sign up as a VIP member so you can unlock those free agency perks!

Can I use my HSA, FSA, or health insurance to pay?

Yes, we provide itemized receipts with official medical codes every week that you can easily send to your insurance provider. Many of our clients successfully use these receipts to get reimbursed or pay directly using their HSA/FSA cards!

Can I combine Case Management with my Doula Care?

At River of Life, our doula services end at 4 weeks postpartum, but you can transition directly into Postpartum Case Management (MTS) starting at 6 weeks postpartum with no ending cap for ongoing home support or additional fees.

Can I add Doula Care to the Home Birth Support Package?

Yes! Actually, adding doula care to your home birth package is highly recommended! While our home birth assistants handle clinical setup and cleanup, only a doula provides continuous hands-on birth advocacy, emotional support, and immediate lactation care during labor.
