About Sharina

Hello, My name is Sharina Jensen, and love my life in Idaho! I wear many hats in my life and love each one of them. I am married to my sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful children and 2 dogs! I have worked with supporting families and the unique challenges that a family can face with their children since I was 17. I have also had the opportunity to support couples through infertility to have a family since 2012. I believe that my desire to help build families and through becoming a mother my self has led me to Doula work. I took my training in February 2016 and haven’t looked back! There is so much beauty and excitement in pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. There is also the unexpected and I love being a support to a new family through it all. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor, (CLC) and am happy to support any lactation needs you may have.

Daytime Support: $45/hr

Assist with anything you feel will help you settle in and feel better supported

Night time Support: $45/Hr

Prenatal Lactation appointments

This appointment is tailored to fit your individual breastfeeding needs- whether this is your first time, or more. I can help you identify goals, and educate on lactating and breastfeeding an infant. We can also go over the breastfeeding items that can be beneficial for you to have and also how to make sure you know how to use your breast pump and that you have the right size of flange and get you all set up to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. 90 min

What to expect

Sharina is a Certified Birth Doula and Trained Postpartum Doula through DONA International and has been supporting families in this role for 8.5 years. She has been able to support 135 births so far and 5 Postpartum families. Along with being a doula, Sharina is a Certified Lactation Counselor and Cranialsacral Therapist! She has extensive training and experience with child development, and can help navigate this journey along side you!
