About me

My initial expertise comes from her 30 years experience as a mom (& gramma) and 20 years of supporting parents, teen parents, and families. Specializing in perinatal and women’s mental health, I helps you navigate anxiety, depression, birth trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. With a background in maternal health, childbirth education, and doula work, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of parenthood and identity. I'm passionate about challenging societal norms, advocating for families, and creating space for meaningful change. I am expert at helping people connect with their values, build resilience, and approach parenting with more mindfulness and self-compassion. I love to help mothers discover their authentic self and stay true to this while navigating the ups and downs of life. When I'm not in session, you might find me hanging with my family, relaxing around a fire, wandering in the woods or actively engaging in local advocacy efforts.

Service introduction

“I love my baby! I love our relationship! I love being a new mom…but... something is off”.... Do you feel uncertain at times if motherhood is for you? Do you get down because reality is different from your expectations? Are you exhausted, physically and mentally? Do you find you’re often questioning yourself? What if people can tell I’m feeling this way? Will this feeling ever go away? Am I a bad mom? This can be frustrating and sometimes scary, but these feelings are very common. You are not alone. Your feelings are valid. Your mental well-being is important. You don’t have to trudge through this alone. Let’s work together to help you feel like an updated version of your old self. As a therapist with over 20 years experience as a doula, parent educator, and mother of four, I can offer you one on one sessions via telehealth or in peaceful outdoor walk and talk settings to provide a safe space for processing, skill building, and restoring your confidence in yourself and your mothering capabilities.
