Aiming for a TOLAC in the hopes of achieving a vaginal birth, although I will have a C-section scheduled for week 41 in case I don't go into labor naturally. My C-section recovery was technical smooth with no complications last time, but I did not feel like I received enough information or support immediately following birth about how to manage my recovery and ultimately was unprepared and struggled at home the first few weeks. I am seeking immediate postpartum support regardless of how birth goes to smooth out the adjustment period when I leave the hospital, at least for a few weeks.

As of today, I am planning to give birth at GMBC, I am an OB who practices at their campus in Towson, MD. I am relying heavily on my two insurance plans and am willing to pay the copays/what they do not cover. I also have not drawn up or outlined a birth plan. I do know I do not what to be induced unless absolutely necessary (AKA Pitocin pressured) and I am open to an epidural. I am really looking for someone I can rely on to educate both parties involved being my significant other and I and my mother who are at this moment who I want present for the birth. And more importantly enforce boundaries from a more medically trained/educated standpoint on my behalf and with my health/survival in mind. I also would love someone who is especially experienced with the mental health aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
