Would rather have doula in room during birth process .. my parents, I’d like them to come in once the birth is complete and I’m covered, out of the respect of our culture, but I definitely would love support during that time. I plan to give birth in a hospital in Irmo,SC. I am hoping insurance will cover portion of cost. I plan on immediate skin to skin contact, no cleaning/bathing, delayed cord clamping, delayed shots and eye ointment. It is crucial that I get the first 2 hours with my baby alone unless medically necessary.
