I am planning to give birth in the hospital I am hoping to pay $500 or less I am unsure of my birth plan at this point

I am looking to have a natural and unmedicated birth if possible and would like a doula to help guide me through the experience as well as help me through postpartum if needed. This is my first baby and would like as much support and help with this as possible.

I plan on giving birth in the hospital. I would like to avoid an epidural, but am open to one if I change my mind, maybe. I am open to using other pain techniques including nitrous oxide, but I'm, not sure about opioids and iv pain meds. I am looking to pay very little or nothing outside of insurance if I can. I am having a baby girl and would like a quiet, fun, peaceful birth with lots of encouragement. I don't mind some medical intervention, but a lot I would like to avoid unless absolutely necessary.

I would need a prenatal doula as well as attend labor & delivery classes. I plan to deliver at NYU. My budget is $2,000

Dear Pippa, My husband Sam and I are expecting our second child in mid September of this year. Sam will take off one week to ten days for paternity leave and then another week or so later in the year. We have a two year old son (Hugo) who will be in school from 8:30 to 1:30 Monday through Friday.
