I would like to give birth at the hospital with the support of a doula, I would like to find a provider covered by Aetna PPO Plus and I am hoping for an unmedicated birth, without induction or epidural. I would like to wait for clamping the umbilical cord and for skin on skin contact. Looking for someone with experience who can give advice if something arises that doesn't match with my birth plan. I have gestational diabetes and I use insulin pre-meals I am 23 weeks and this is my first pregnancy.

Stamford/Norwalk area is the anticipated delivery area I have husky so looking for someone who is covered by them. Additionally willing to discuss payment options for additional services outside of husky My birth plan is to deliver naturally the vaginal route and leave the hospital healthy and with healthy babies.

Hi, I plan to give birth Katz Womens Hospital LIJ in New Hyde Park. My budget is 2,000. My husband and I currently live in Maine but are moving to Long Beach in April. we have a lot of things up in the air right now and switching OBs half way through pregnancy has me a little anxious. I dont think I will be able to build the relationship I would like with my OB / OB office in NY as much as I would like. So I would like to work with a doula before during and after birth to have some support and a familiar face during this process. This is my first pregnancy. I am currently doing a hypnobirthing course. I dont not have a full outline birth plan yet.

I am looking to have a hospital birth, but with as little intervention as possible. I want to be unmedicated, ability to labor and deliver on my side or all fours, I want to delay the cord cutting, no fundal massage, no cervical checks,, and I want to be able to retain my placenta. I believe a birth via OB would stop me from this.
