About me

Sheryll is a DONA trained Birth and Postpartum Doula. She also is a Lactation Consultant through Healthy Children Project-Center for Breastfeeding. In addition to Breastfeeding support and doula work, she also has a passion for Placentas! She Trained through International Placenta & Postpartum Association to become a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. After experiencing her own home birth with a midwife, she wants to help everyone have an empowered and supported birthing experience. She is dedicated to making sure that you and your partner feel like you have the skills you need to have the most positive birth experience as possible. Sheryll loves to explore and research ways to provide you with continuous support and uses evidence based information so you can make educated decisions during your pregnancy and into your birth. She lives an exciting life in the South Bay with her husband, four kids, two dogs, and seven chickens that she doulas eggs from for her family!

Service introduction

I am a Birth Doula servicing the San Francisco Bay Area, but I am willing to travel. Consultation is free (book here: https://bookus.page/goldengatedoula/Sheryll/lite/consultation ) I do a minimum of 2 prenatals that we can do via Zoom (if you need more that’s absolutely fine. I support my clients as much as they need), and as soon as you feel contractions you would call me and discuss. If you need me I would go to you and stay throughout your entire labor at home and birth. After birth, I do one postpartum visit. This can also be a virtual visit. I am a Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant, and Placenta Encapsulator. I am CPR certified and fully vaccinated.
