Hi! I’m currently looking for a doula and wanted to share a bit about what I’m hoping for. As a first-time mom, I’m looking for someone with strong labor and delivery experience who can help guide both me and my partner through the process. I’m planning for a likely medicated birth, so I’d love a doula who is supportive of that approach and can help me navigate my options while still advocating for my preferences. It’s really important to me to have someone who can provide both emotional and physical support during labor, as well as offer solid education leading up to delivery so we feel prepared and confident.

I'm giving birth at home (Federal Way). It's my first baby. My care team so far consists of my husband, parents, and sisters. I am confident in my plan for an undisturbed physiological birth and so far have had a hard time finding a like-minded midwife or doula, but would love to be supported by a more knowledgeable and experienced woman. I have no idea what such a thing would cost but am open to paying for quality care.

Hi ! My wife and I are local to Northeast Tacoma, and we’re expecting our first child on September 21, 2026. I wanted to reach out to learn more about your postpartum doula services and see what your availability looks like over the next few months. We’re especially interested in overnight support after the baby arrives. Since this is our first child, we would really value someone who can help us feel more confident during the newborn stage, support us with nighttime care and feeding routines, and help us understand what is normal as we adjust to life with a new baby. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can assist with things such as soothing and settling the baby, diaper changes, bottle preparation or bringing the baby to my wife for breastfeeding, burping, helping the baby return to sleep, washing bottles or pump parts, and offering practical guidance when needed. We would also appreciate support that allows my wife to recover and both of us to get more consistent rest. We’re still figuring out exactly how many nights per week and how long we would need support, so we’d love to hear about the schedules and packages you offer. Could you please let us know your availability around late September and October, your overnight rates, minimum-hour requirements, and whether you provide an initial consultation?

HBAC, post natal care. Hoping to work with someone in my network since hbac isn’t covered by insurance. I’m working with foothills midwifery with back up plan to transfer to St. Louis Hospital if I’m risked out of care

I would like to give birth in a birth center with minimal interventions. I want to be really intentional with the interventions and screenings in the prenatal period as well. This is my first pregnancy at age 27, and my husband wants to be involved in the process as much as possible.

My OB says there is a 20% chance she'll be in the room for delivery, apparently that's average. I want someone in the room who is there to uphold my wishes and birth plan. I want a natural birth. I funny want to clamp the cord until it spots pulsing. I'm on the fence about vitamin k. I don't want my baby to be bathed right away, or taken from me. I don't consent to the eye treatment they put on baby, or any vaccines. I need to know there is someone advocating for these choices, and am looking for someone to help me bring our baby into the world who will respect my faith and those choices

Hospital birth. I plan to have a hospital birth with my healthcare provider monitoring both me and the baby. I would like a calm, supportive environment and would prefer to keep interventions to what is medically necessary. My priority is a safe delivery and healthy baby. I would also like support with breastfeeding and newborn care after delivery. I am looking for someone who is experienced in newborn and infant care, reliable, patient, gentle, and comfortable supporting a mother and baby after birth. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Previous newborn or postpartum experience is important

I need to postpartum care. Also somebody that is educated with childbirth to be there for labor delivery. I need help with lactation consultant. I need help with baby advice and I also need help with the baby items that I can get for my insurance.

My partner is schizoeffective and I would like a doula who is well educated and experienced in mental health so that it will better help me through the delivery. Tacoma general, hopefully keeping it to a minimum but i want to give birth i medicated. I make it to a 9 every time with no epidural but not the right support. I want to try laboring in the tub if needed, just no medications, delayed cord clamping, golden hour skin to skin and absolutely no episiotomy
