About me

Hi! I'm Sophie Brabec, I'm a birth doula located in Battle Ground, WA. My passion for birth work was sparked by the incredible beauty and joy I see in pregnancy and birth. I believe that every woman in labor deserves compassionate, individualized support and that a calm, attentive presence is immensely beneficial during labor. I believe that women have an innate capability to give birth in the way that’s best for them. I'm eager to remind women of that innate capability and passionate about supporting women through their labor in order that they might have the birth they want. I aim to protect your birth preferences by being your advocate as well as encourage and empower you to approach birth confidently through informed support. Outside of birth work I'm happiest when I'm spending time with family and my church community, reading, being creative and getting into nature.
