Hi! I’m currently looking for a doula for my upcoming birth and/or postpartum support. I’m also hoping to find someone who can help with lactation and breastfeeding. I plan to give birth at Uni of Michigan, Ann arbor but I live in Grosse pointe Michigan.

I am pregnant with my first child and plan to give birth at Windsor Regional Hospital under the care of Dr. Katy Bartlett. My husband and I are looking for a doula who can support us throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery, with the goal of helping me labor at home for as long as it is safe and appropriate before going to the hospital. One important part of my birth story is that I have a significant phobia of needles. I've been working through it extensively with my therapist and have made a lot of progress. In the past, I would typically faint after receiving a needle—not because of the pain, but because of the anxiety surrounding it. I'm proud to say that over the past year I have successfully gotten through all of my bloodwork and other needle-related appointments without fainting. I am open to having an epidural if it becomes the best option during labor, but the thought of one is still terrifying and intimidating. My hope is to prepare for an unmedicated labor and delivery while remaining flexible if circumstances change. We're also hoping for guidance and education throughout this process. As first-time parents, we'd love support in learning about labor, birth, pain management techniques, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding/lactation so that we feel as confident and prepared as possible.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. This is my second pregnancy and I am planning to try for TOLAC/VBAC this time. I was induced at 40W 6 d but overall the first pregnancy was normal. I opted for c-section as the labor was progressing too slow and the epidural failed.

I am looking for an Arabic-speaking doula or birth support person for my upcoming vaginal delivery in Windsor, Ontario. I have a 6-year-old daughter, and my husband will most likely need to stay home with her while I am in the hospital. Because of this, I need someone who can stay with me during labour, provide emotional and physical support, and, if possible, remain with me overnight at the hospital if hospital policies allow. If overnight hospital support is not available, I would also be interested in overnight postpartum support after I return home. Plan to birth in a hospital, would like to attempt all natural delivery with no epidural. Insurance should take care of majority of cost. Would like support during birth/labor. Would like guidance for my husband to do most of the work with supporting me.

Overnight care for our infant who is 3 weeks old Budget $30-35/ hour

I am looking for a newborn specialist with at least 3+ years of experience to help care for my daughter at home, preferably with a CPR/First Aid certification as well. I am hoping to find someone who can work a few hours during the morning/afternoon and a few hours overnight. She is almost 2 weeks old and is bottle-fed (both formula and breastmilk from pumping). Since my husband will be returning to work soon, I am hoping to find someone who can take care of her while I take care of our dog and things around the house during the day and help with feeding/changing her at night. Our budget is $10-$13/hour.

Windsor or Leamington hospital 800 dollars This is my first birth so I’m unsure exactly and would like to discuss a birth plan together if possible. I’d like to have my mom there and support from a doula. I’m not with the father so I wouldn’t like him there. I think I may want an epidural or natural not sure yet.
