This is my second baby. I am 17weeks, due Feb 11th. Plan to give birth at hospital in Utah County. My first birth I was a clinical trial patient for the Materna Prep Device up in Idaho (loved it). I had a epidural early and was induced due to my child measuring 10lbs...she was 7lbs. Though they halved my induction dose and lowered the pitocinto almost nothing it was a birth that was very hard on both my child and myself (didn't love that part her heart kept stopping). I'm looking for someone who can help me avoid induction (my husband doesnt return from military basic training until a week before so we are trying to keep this baby in as long as posisble), minimize intervention due to a low drug tolerance that is a little unpredictable, can help me give birth without pushing ( just letting my body do it if possible totally fine if I gotta push though), and advocate for me (incase my husband isnt there but even if he is he won't be here the whole pregnancy so catching him up will be difficult). I also wont be in the area until Decemeber 22nd, I'm in St. George right now but moving to Utah Valley area then.
Provo area but open to American fork United Healthcare plus but may switch to Medicaid soon so I need someone who accepts both Not to sure about birth plan I just found out I’m pregnant and want to meet with a midwife
I want an unmedicated, physiological birth in a hospital setting. I have anthem blue cross blue shield ppo plan and i want a midwife near provo utah so i can deliver at orem community clinic women’s center.
I am 7 weeks along in my first pregnancy. I am wanting to do an at home birth. I would like to avoid going to the hospital unless a true need or concern arises. I would like to give birth naturally in the comfort of my own environment. I currently live in Salem UT and will be here for the duration of my pregnancy, but there is a chance in May (the month my baby is due) I will travel home to Redding California to give birth there. I understand that my Utah midwife will not be capable of attending the birth if I am out of state, I plan to make other accommodations in Redding with another midwife present. I would love if my midwife could be prepared for this possibly and keep a well documented file on all of the details of my pregnancy so if I am in California during labor, my other providers will have all the information necessary to safely deliver my child.
Want to give birth at hospital, or birthing center. Want to have a natural water birth. Insurance is Medicaid. I want to understand what I can do to help have the best birthing experience possible. No c-section. No- epidural.
I could be pregnant right now, would like to be pregnant before the end of the year, and am looking for a midwife/doula who could help me deliver a baby at home. I've already delivered 3 babies vaginally with zero complications (no health issues, no breach babies, no C-sections, etc). I'm on levothyroxine right now because I had half of my thyroid removed 2 years ago, but I have another service provider who is managing my thyroid medication that I'm working with right now. I don't know how much it costs to have a midwife/doula but I'd prefer a budget friendly option, certainly cheaper than the hospital. Birth plan: home birth, no epidural, don't know if there are any pain management options. Honestly I don't know much about home deliveries so don't really have a bigger plan than that. I'm not sure what the process looks like. My husband and I have Medi-Share but don't know if they'd cover much, we're on their $12,000 sharing cost/deductible plan. I don't know if it'd be cheaper to just negotiate our own price? Looking forward to exploring my options.
Birthing center/hospital I want it to be as natural as possible!
Not sure yet. Just looking for midwives near me
I would like to give birth in a hospital but I don’t want an epidural or any catheters. I want to be connected to my own body and my baby. I’m at 11 almost 12 weeks as of right now. My husband and I are applying for Medicaid so that needs to be accepted by the midwife we choose.
Home birth with family and midwife. Certified nurse midwife
Home water birth. 5,000 tops. Loved Bearth midwifery and Gloria is amazing but I’m looking to see if there is anyone closer to us. Plan on doing minimal intervention unless absolutely necessary for the safety of Me or baby. Minimal ultrasounds (only 1 unless something is concerning). Birth at home in a pool and be present with baby and dad after. Delayed cord clamping while delivering placenta!
I want to have a home birth under $5,500 but preferably under $5,000.
I would like to try for a home birth. I have had 2 previous c-sections followed by a successful natural VBA2C. I would like to do an unmedicated birth again. I have a very low budget as this baby was unplanned so I do not have a lot of savings set aside for this situation.
I’m currently pregnant with my 3rd and last baby. Either my first I gave birth to her under 6 hours with limited medication. With my second I had an extremely traumatic forced unmedicated birth not so to medical complications but due to a doctor who made a decision without my consent nor my husband’s. My second birth was 4 hours long. My deliveries are getting shorter so If avoidable I do not want to give birth in a hospital again.
I’m wanting to do a home birth. Want to find someone covered by my insurance. I’m interested in a water birth. My first labor was 3.5 hours so I’m hoping to deliver from home cause I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to the hospital in time for the next. I didn't have any complications with my first delivery it just happened really fast and i went into labor at 36weeks 5days. I got gestational diabetes my first pregnancy but was able to manage it with diet and exercise. My blood pressure got a little high towards the end of my pregnancy and I ended up doing one nonstress test before the baby came early. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant and am hoping to do a home birth this time around. I 'm at a healthier place and have better habits going into this pregnancy which I plan to keep up throughout.
Birth either at home or hospital No more than 2,000 I wouldn’t want my child to get vaccinated or any medical care they recommend. I would maybe need help cooking and somewhat cleaning
Home. 3,000, unmedicated and physiological based birth
