Hi, I’m Sarah, the heart and soul behind RAS Doula Services. My journey to becoming a doula is deeply personal. My husband and I are parents to five beautiful children, and each pregnancy and birth taught me something different about the strength, vulnerability, and power of motherhood. But our story also holds deep loss. In January 2024, we lost our daughter Riley. Her life, though far too short, changed me forever and became a big part of why I chose this path. I want her life to continue to mean something. Supporting other women as they bring life into the world is one of the ways I honor her. Through my own pregnancies and births, I experienced first hand how important it is for a mother to feel supported, heard, and empowered during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I was incredibly grateful to have my husband by my side each time, but I often think about how different those experiences could have been if I’d also had a trained support person whose sole focus was helping me through every moment of labor. That realization is what led me to become a doula. Along side my training, I bring the lived experience of carrying, birthing, and caring for five children. I understand the physical intensity of labor, the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, and the strength it takes to bring a baby into the world. My goal as a doula is simple: to walk along side mothers with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement. I want women to feel confident, informed, and empowered in their birth experience. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to feel supported, respected, and strong during one of the most important moments of your life. Being invited into such a sacred moment is something I never take lightly. It’s truly an honor to support mothers and families as they welcome their babies into the world.

Hey there, my name is Jasmine Johnston and I’m from Cincinnati, OH. I am a Full Spectrum Doula and Wholistic infant feeding and lactation consultant. I am a proud gardener and crocheter. I also enjoy yoga, herbalism, vegan food, and wholistic health. I’m not new to care taking, I Have 10 Nieces and Nephews and I’ll always say my younger sister was my first baby. However, it was through my first born that I was reborn myself. While pregnant, I gained a passion for birthwork and gardening. I began to understand the importance of getting connected with earth’s essence and supporting each seed towards their fullest potential. In gardening, each seed knows exactly what to do when given the right environment to flourish. I believe in that philosophy for birthing people. I aim to support women in their fully informed power and connection to self through the ancestral ways of breastfeeding, birthing, and wholistic wellness.
