My passion for birth work grew through my own experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and motherhood. I know firsthand how meaningful it is to feel heard, supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for during such a transformative season of life. I’m currently completing my Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula certifications through Childbirth International, and I’m excited to begin walking alongside growing families. My approach to doula care is rooted in compassion, encouragement, and evidence-based support. My husband and I have two daughters. They are our pride and joy with the perfect mix of sassy and sweet. ••• I myself had a very traumatic birth in 2021 and I am very thankful for it because it has led me here, helping other mommas and doing what I have been called to do. I am a Christian Certified Doula located in the state of Ohio. As a doula, I will share all I know about pregnancy, birth, postpartum and newborn care one on one and through my page. ••• I will help you decide on a birth plan, prepare physically and mentally for birth and postpartum…As well as so much more. Hello! I'm Mandee, the owner of "She Must Be Loved Doula Services" My name "Mandee" translates to “she must be loved” or “worthy of love,” which inspired the title of my christian based private doula practice: She Must Be Loved Doula Services. I firmly believe that every mother deserves to feel cherished throughout her journey into motherhood, from preparation to the birthing experience and beyond. While I value the moments spent with newborns, my primary focus is on supporting and uplifting mothers. Although I am newer to the role of a doula -I believe I bring valuable insights derived from my doula training that acquired through the "A woman who serves" doula training program, virtual and in-person care I've provided, as well as my personal experiences as a mother of three daughters. My first daughter was born in London, England; my second in Boston, Massachusetts; and my third in Dublin, Ohio. Throughout this journey, I have been fortunate to receive prenatal midwifery care, with my first daughter delivered by midwives and, continued midwifery support for my subsequent children. The knowledge I gained from this experience was invaluable. Unfortunately, my exceptional midwife could not attend the birth of my second daughter, and I was cared for by an OBGYN. This experience taught me the vital importance of receiving love and compassion from your care provider during childbirth. Despite feeling mistreated by the OBGYN in Boston, I recognize my inherent worthiness of love and compassion, which I strive to extend to others. My third daughter was also delivered with the assistance of an OBGYN here in Ohio. That experience was notably more positive because I found my voice, and my husband and I became strong advocates for my needs and desires. I have learned a lot from my birthing experiences, both overseas and in the United States. I am dedicated to ensuring that other women have the best possible birthing experience. A mother must feel loved to foster a positive and empowering environment. The four pillars of doula support include physical support, emotional support, informational support, and advocacy. Additionally, I aspire to introduce a fifth pillar that holds special significance for me: spiritual support. Hi, I’m Sarah, the heart and soul behind RAS Doula Services. My journey to becoming a doula is deeply personal. My husband and I are parents to five beautiful children, and each pregnancy and birth taught me something different about the strength, vulnerability, and power of motherhood. But our story also holds deep loss. In January 2024, we lost our daughter Riley. Her life, though far too short, changed me forever and became a big part of why I chose this path. I want her life to continue to mean something. Supporting other women as they bring life into the world is one of the ways I honor her. Through my own pregnancies and births, I experienced first hand how important it is for a mother to feel supported, heard, and empowered during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I was incredibly grateful to have my husband by my side each time, but I often think about how different those experiences could have been if I’d also had a trained support person whose sole focus was helping me through every moment of labor. That realization is what led me to become a doula. Along side my training, I bring the lived experience of carrying, birthing, and caring for five children. I understand the physical intensity of labor, the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, and the strength it takes to bring a baby into the world. My goal as a doula is simple: to walk along side mothers with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement. I want women to feel confident, informed, and empowered in their birth experience. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to feel supported, respected, and strong during one of the most important moments of your life. Hey there, my name is Jasmine Johnston and I’m from Cincinnati, OH. I am a Full Spectrum Doula and Wholistic infant feeding and lactation consultant. I am a proud gardener and crocheter. I also enjoy yoga, herbalism, vegan food, and wholistic health. I’m not new to care taking, I Have 10 Nieces and Nephews and I’ll always say my younger sister was my first baby. However, it was through my first born that I was reborn myself. While pregnant, I gained a passion for birthwork and gardening. I began to understand the importance of getting connected with earth’s essence and supporting each seed towards their fullest potential. In gardening, each seed knows exactly what to do when given the right environment to flourish. I believe in that philosophy for birthing people. I aim to support women in their fully informed power and connection to self through the ancestral ways of breastfeeding, birthing, and wholistic wellness.
