Hi, I’m Lindsay! 🤍 I’m a wife, mama of two little girls, and the heart behind Rooted Beginnings Birth & Postpartum, serving families throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. My passion for birth work grew through my own experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and motherhood. I know firsthand how meaningful it is to feel heard, supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for during such a transformative season of life. I’m currently completing my Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula certifications through Childbirth International, and I’m excited to begin walking alongside growing families. My approach to doula care is rooted in compassion, encouragement, and evidence-based support. I believe every mother deserves to feel empowered in her choices, confident in her abilities, and surrounded by genuine care. Whether you’re preparing to welcome your little one or navigating those tender newborn days, my heart is to provide a calming, nurturing presence while honoring your unique needs, preferences, and goals. I’m especially passionate about postpartum care, helping families find their rhythm, supporting newborn care, and giving mothers the opportunity to rest, recover, and feel supported. I’m interested in providing both daytime and overnight postpartum support as I continue my training. I would be honored to be part of your family’s journey! Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Daytime Postpartum Doula Care

Compassionate, personalized support during your fourth trimester. Whether you need an extra set of hands, time to rest, or someone to walk alongside you as you adjust to life with your newborn, I’m here to help. Services may include newborn soothing, diaper changes, bottle-feeding assistance, light housekeeping, baby laundry, simple meal preparation, sibling support, and emotional encouragement. My goal is to help you feel rested, confident, and cared for as your family grows. 3-hour minimum per visit. Student postpartum doula currently completing certification through Childbirth International.

$25 USD · Per hour

Overnight Newborn & Postpartum Care

Rest easier knowing you have compassionate support during those long newborn nights! Overnight care focuses on helping your family get much-needed rest while providing attentive, nurturing newborn support. Services may include diaper changes, soothing and settling your baby, bottle preparation and feeding support, bringing baby to you for breastfeeding, washing bottles, and light baby-related household tasks. My heart is to help you wake up feeling more rested and supported as you navigate the newborn season. 4-hour minimum per shift. Student postpartum doula currently completing certification through Childbirth International.

Fourth Trimester Care Package

A little extra support can make a world of difference during the fourth trimester! This package includes 12 hours of personalized daytime postpartum support, scheduled around your family’s needs. Whether you’re recovering from birth, adjusting to feeding routines, caring for older children, or simply needing time to shower and rest, I’m here to provide practical help and a compassionate presence. Includes three 4-hour visits, with newborn care assistance, light household support, and emotional encouragement. Student postpartum doula currently completing certification through Childbirth International.

I’m currently completing my birth and postpartum doula certifications through Childbirth International and look forward to supporting families throughout Greater Cincinnati. 🌿 Postpartum Doula Support Gentle, practical, and emotional support to help you feel cared for, confident, and rested during your fourth trimester. Services may include: * Newborn care assistance, including diaper changes, soothing, and settling * Bottle-feeding support and general feeding encouragement * Support with establishing newborn routines * Emotional support and a listening ear * Light household tasks, such as baby laundry, washing bottles, and tidying shared spaces * Simple meal and snack preparation * Helping parents find time for rest, recovery, and self-care * Support for families adjusting to life with multiple children Daytime and overnight postpartum care are planned offerings. 🌙 Overnight Newborn & Postpartum Support Rest matters, especially during those first weeks with a newborn! Overnight care is designed to give parents the opportunity to rest while their baby receives attentive, nurturing care. Support may include: * Overnight newborn soothing and settling * Diaper changes and bottle preparation * Bringing baby to a parent for breastfeeding * Washing and preparing bottles and feeding supplies * Light baby-related household tasks * Encouragement and reassurance during nighttime feeding routines 🤍 Birth Doula Support My goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. As I complete my birth doula training, I’m seeking opportunities for mentorship, shadowing, and supervised birth support. Planned services include: * Prenatal education and birth preference discussions * Emotional encouragement throughout labor * Comfort measures, breathing techniques, and relaxation * Positioning and movement suggestions * Continuous nonmedical labor support * Partner encouragement and involvement * Immediate postpartum emotional support A Personalized Approach Every family, every birth, and every postpartum journey is different.
