I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. I have a Florida blue HMO plan, member id xjgh32700970. Group number l0784.
Sleep training and overnight newborn care, light cooking and cleaning. Must be CPR certified.
This is my husband and I‘s first pregnancy and my first time giving birth. I am having some anxieties fears and worries for childbirth. I recently just moved from Georgia where my mother and family live and lacking that support and my husband and I agree we would love the support. We are under the care of OBGYN Associates in st Augustine fl we cannot afford over $2,500 over all. I am eager and hopeful to have a spontaneous labor with minimal intervention. I’m not opposed to an epidural, but I am very opposed to Pitocin and some other interventions that take place in a hospital birth setting
First baby, older parents (mid 30s), wanting to have a natural unmedicated birth, giving birth in a hospital, would love support on how to prepare for the birth, breathing and during the birth. As well as postpartum help, and night care. We don't have any support and would love to have someone to help out. We don't have much to spend, looking for someone who would be able to do it for free or low cost. Care would be for the baby, some help for mom, and house.
