Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. Also looking for support and knowledge in breastfeeding where I can improve! Looking for a doula that accepts Tricare Select. I plan on needing doula support during the whole labor and my insurance covers a total of 6 hours of doula support before and/or after birth.

Hi! I’m currently pregnant and looking for a birth doula to support me throughout my pregnancy and labor. I’m hoping for a VBAC after a previous C-section (in Sept. 2023), so I’m specifically looking for someone who has experience supporting VBAC/TOLAC births. I have the ILWU-PMA Coastwise Indemnity Plan with Blue Shield of California PPO insurance, and I’m hoping to have my doula services covered or reimbursed through my insurance. Do you accept Blue Shield of California PPO, or are you able to provide a superbill/NPI for out-of-network reimbursement? I’d also love to know your availability around my due date, your experience with VBACs, what your birth package includes, and your pricing before insurance. Thank you! I am looking for a birth and postpartum doula that is covered by Kaiser insurance, who is very knowledgeable about the birth process, potential complications and newborn care, who is open to attending hospitals births. I am planning to give birth at Kaiser South Bay Harbor City. I would like to labor at home with my partner and the doula for as long as possible until it’s time to go to the hospital. I am open to an epidural at the hospital but if I’m doing okay or labor is progressing quickly I am open to not getting one. I hope for an uncomplicated vaginal birth. I’d like the doula to know the difference between interventions that might be offered to me at the hospital that are not necessary and what is necessary/ will help my baby to be born healthy. I’d like a certified doula with multiple years experience, age 38+ or older. I am 38 years old, first pregnancy, have a very supportive partner, and hope to breastfeed.

My wife and I are currently looking for a birth doula Our estimated due date is March 28, 2027, and we are planning to deliver at Hoag Hospital. We have Anthem Blue Cross insurance through LAUSD, and we are currently trying to confirm our doula benefits and which providers may be covered in-network. We also found that National Doula Network appears in-network under our Anthem plan. Could you please let us know whether you currently accept or bill Anthem Blue Cross, whether you work through National Doula Network or another insurance network, and whether your services for prenatal support, labor/birth support at Hoag, and postpartum care may be covered through insurance? I live in Torrance, Ca and have Kaiser insurance. I will be delivering at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center. This is my first child.

Who the care is for: Our family. I will have a newborn daughter (due date around December 2026, possibly November if she arrives early) and I have an 8 year old son. I will be recovering postpartum and want to stay focused on bonding with the baby without getting pulled into household tasks. Days and hours needed: Daily, evening hours (roughly dinner time through bedtime), for about 2 to 4 weeks, starting after the baby arrives. Flexible on exact timing, happy to adjust as our routine settles. Extra duties: - Warming up dinner - Prepping my son's lunch for the next school day - Checking that his homework is done - Light cleaning: vacuuming kitchen/dining area, tidying common rooms - Taking out trash and recycling - Running a load of laundry as needed - Occasionally watching the baby while I shower - Help restocking postpartum/baby supplies, freezing pumped milk and washing pump parts, and grabbing nursing snacks/drinks I keep on hand My husband will be home during these hours too. We just want an extra set of hands so neither of us is stuck doing chores instead of resting or spending time with the kids. Budget: $35 to $40/hour, depending on experience.
