Looking for assistance with a home birth . I am open to a water birth as well. I have no insurance so i will be paying out of pocket. My budget is $5,000- $7,000 but i am flexible. I need someone to walk me through what to expect from the home birth and any possible issues that comes from this and thats mainly it. Hello! We are pregnant with our first child and I am really interested in having a Doula. I am a patient at Oula seeing their team of midwives and plan to deliver at Mount Sinai West. I live in Astoria, Queens. I am hopeful to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would like to learn as many breathing, movement, push positions, etc as possible to help achieve this goal. I am currently on Anthem BCBS Medicaid as a graduate student and have a tighter budget, but understand the importance of the care and knowledge that doulas provide.
