First baby, currently 33 weeks pregnant and planning to give birth at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, SC. I’m looking for a midwife to support me through the remainder of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. I’d like a calm, supportive birth with as little unnecessary intervention as possible while prioritizing my and my baby’s safety. I’m open to pain medication if needed, but would like support with natural comfort measures, positioning, breathing, and labor coaching. I want my partner supported and involved throughout the birth. I have Healthy Connections Medicaid and my First Choice coverage begins November 1. I’m looking for someone who accepts my coverage and can work with me on billing. Due around November 10.
