I am a queer traditional multiracial Afroindígena full-spectrum community BirthKeeper, artist, fur mama, auntie, lover, ancestral healer & activist located on Coast Salish land, Point Elliott & Medicine Creek Treaty Territory (Seattle, WA). I come from the Maya Ch’ortí, Lenca, and Garífuna/Garínagu Indigenous & Afroindigenous peoples of Honduras through my father’s side. I also carry Northwestern European heritage, namely German, Celtic & Norwegian. My birthwork is deeply rooted in my spiritual practice through my Mesoamerican and Afro-Caribbean upbringing. I believe that birth is a sacred ceremony and rite of passage, and it is a true honor to support you and your family throughout all stages of this journey. Hello beautiful family! My name is Amber and I am a birth and postpartum doula moving to the Seattle area. I am also a childbirth educator and about to start my Masters of Midwifery program. In between all that, I am a mama of 3 of my own amazing humans. I am honored to be in this chapter of my life where I get to serve mothers and babies and the families that love them.
