About me
I have over 30 years experience including many sets of twins and a set of newborn triplets. My experience includes children from birth to 18 years. I grew up in a large, close-knit family and I am the oldest of five girls. I am also a mother to 4 grown children and a grandma to 2 amazing granddaughters, ages 7 years and 3 years. I have worked in an in-home daycare setting, as well as working as a paraeducator in special education classrooms. I have 17+ years experience as an overnight newborn care specialist & sleep-trained many infants to sleep through the night. I am honest, reliable, flexible, organized, loving, caring, nurturing, and have an abundance of patience. I am dual certified as a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula. I am Trustline cleared, CPR certified, First Aid trained, have a negative TB test, have had my flu shot and whooping cough vaccinations. I have had the COVID vaccination & am current with other vaccinations. I am a non-smoker, have LiveScan and DOJ background clearance, and insured with a clean DMV record. Preventative Health and Safety Certified, ROP Careers with Children Courses.

Tammy worked with us at least 5 nights a week for about 4 months caring for our newborn during the pandemic. Tammy was absolutely AMAZING!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She was way better with our little Lexi than I was (I think Lexi could sense my nervous energy) and I used to joke that having her stay with us every night was like going on vacation. Sleep is everything! Tammy would come over every night and Lexi would just melt into her arms. Tammy just has a way with children, especially babies and Lexi was immediately comfortable with her. She is also the consummate professional. She is exceedingly clean, well organized and you feel VERY comfortable with her in the house. In fact, we also had her travel with us to Tahoe and we had so much fun! In such a short time, she became like family and I relied on her so much. She also went WAY above and beyond. Our little Lexi became sick one night and I ended up dragging Tammy to the ER during the height of the pandemic. She kept our little Lexi calm and I cried like a baby in her arms while we were at the hospital. It was such a blessing to have Tammy as an integral part of our family during that time and I miss her!

10/10 would recommend, she helped me with both of my babies when they were born. I was less stressed and way more rested with Tammy's help. She took wonderful care of my babies so I could rest, take time for self care and get the babies on a consistent sleeping schedule early on so sleep training them was so easy. If I have specific routines or wishes for my babies she follows them to a T. I couldn't have started my motherhood journey without all of her help and support. If you're looking for someone who will love your babies as much as you do, support you through the rough patches of postpartum, and give you confidence to be the best mommy you can be, Tammy is your woman! I know if i was having more babies I would want Tammy to help out again and again!

Tammy is a godsend. I was lucky enough to work with her for my third baby and wish I had for the first two. Even being an experienced parent she still had many tips and tricks to share and made my transition from 2-3 kids much easier. We miss our time with her!
