About Taylor
Hi, I’m Taylor — a birth photographer, L&D and postpartum nurse, and currently completing my birth doula certification through a deep love for supporting women through one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.
My approach to birth work is rooted in compassion, advocacy, education, and genuine connection. I believe every family deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and supported - no matter what kind of birth they hope for. Whether your vision includes an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, home birth, or simply “please help me get through this,” I’m here without judgment and with full support for your choices.
Working in labor and delivery has given me firsthand experience supporting women through both beautiful and incredibly challenging moments. I’ve seen how important calm support, reassurance, and informed care can be during labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. My nursing background allows me to bring both emotional and practical support into the space while helping families feel safe, empowered, and cared for.
Alongside doula support, I also specialize in motherhood and birth photography because preserving these moments matters deeply to me. Birth is raw, emotional, powerful, and fleeting all at once - and I feel incredibly honored to document and support families through it.
Outside of birth work, I’m a mom myself, which has only deepened my passion for caring for women in this season of life. I understand how overwhelming, vulnerable, magical, and identity-shifting pregnancy and motherhood can feel, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.
My goal as your doula is simple: to help you feel supported, informed, grounded, and never alone throughout your journey into parenthood.

What to expect
I offer birth photography, doula support, fresh 48 sessions, maternity, newborn, and motherhood storytelling sessions with a gentle, connection-focused approach.
As both a labor and delivery nurse and doula, I bring a unique blend of emotional support, clinical understanding, and storytelling into every birth space I enter. My goal is to help families feel safe, seen, supported, and able to fully stay present in their experience while I preserve the moments they never want to forget.
My style is candid, emotional, and authentic - focused less on perfection and more on preserving the feeling of the moment exactly as it was.

If you have the opportunity to photograph one of the most memorable moments of your life, you absolutely should. Before meeting Taylor, I didn’t fully understand what birth photography or doula support would even look like. But from our first conversation, it was obvious she is an incredible listener, calming presence, and someone who genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. One of our biggest concerns was comfort during such a vulnerable moment, and Taylor was so intentional about respecting that. Somehow she captured so many beautiful moments without ever feeling intrusive. Her labor & delivery experience made such a difference. She knew exactly what was happening, comforted us during moments of uncertainty, and brought such a peaceful energy into the room. The combination of her talent, knowledge, and passion is truly special. Looking back now, it honestly feels like pure magic that everyone was exactly where they were meant to be in that room that day.

When I first contacted Taylor about birth photography, I knew my heart wanted it, but I wasn’t sure my self-esteem could handle being seen so vulnerably. Taylor immediately made me feel safe, understood, and empowered. She listened to every fear without judgment and reassured me in a way that felt so genuine. Even before meeting in person, I trusted her completely.During labor, Taylor brought such a calm and comforting presence. Her experience as a labor & delivery nurse and doula made an incredible difference — she knew exactly how to support, encourage, and guide us while capturing the most meaningful moments so naturally. The photos of our daughter’s birth are something we will treasure forever. They tell our story with so much emotion, love, and strength. Seeing myself through Taylor’s lens made me feel powerful, beautiful, and brave. I will forever be grateful she encouraged me to say yes to this experience.

There are some people who enter your life as friends, and then walk beside you during the moments that change you forever. That is exactly who Taylor was for us during the birth of our second baby boy.Having her there as both my doula and birth photographer made this experience more meaningful than I could ever explain. She supported my dream of an unmedicated birth with such a calm, grounding presence. In the hardest moments, she reminded me to breathe, encouraged me when I doubted myself, and helped me trust the strength my body was created to have. I felt deeply seen, safe, and cared for.She also guided my husband in supporting me through labor, helping us feel connected and confident together through every moment. And somehow, while being fully present for us, she captured the most raw and beautiful moments of our son entering the world. These photos are some of our most treasured possessions. We are forever grateful for Taylor and the love she poured into our birth story. 🤍
Most families book during the second trimester, bit I always recommend reaching out as soon as possible since I only take a limited number of births each month to ensure true on-call availability.
Are you a certified doula?
I am currently completing my doula certification while actively supporting families through birth. In addition to my doula training, I work as a labor and delivery nurse, which gives me extensive hands-on birth experience and understanding of the hospital environment.
Do you replace my medical team?
Not at all! Your provider and nursing staff are there for medical care and safety. My role is to provide emotional support, comfort measures, guidance, advocacy encouragement, and/or documentation depending on the services you book.
What happens when I go into labor?
I ask clients to call me at the first signs of labor or if there are any major changes. This helps me prepare for childcare, on-call logistics, and getting to you in a timely manner.
How does being on-call work?
I am on-call for your birth beginning at 38 weeks until delivery Because birth is unpredictable, I only accept a limited number of due dates each month.
What if you miss the birth?
While I do everything possible to arrive promptly, birth can sometimes move incredibly fast. In the rare event I an unable to make it in time due to precipitous labor or emergency circumstances, any missed coverage policies will be discussed clearly in your contract ahead of time.
Will my photos be shared online?
Never without your permission! I deeply respect how intimate and vulnerable birth is, and you will always have full control over what is shared publicly.
What kind of birth do you support?
All kinds! Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, VBAC, or simply want someone supportive in your corner, you deserve to feel safe, informed, and cared for.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! Flexible payment plans are available for most packages
Where are you located?
I am based in Maryland and primarily serve Frederick County and surrounding areas, but travel may be available for select births and sessions.
How much does Taylor charge?
