Labor process, breastfeeding, birth plan, postpartum care
I have an OBGYN and will be delivering in a hospital but I want a doula there who could be my voice on the day of delivery. I want an unmedicated birth with minimal check ups, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, and only give vaccinations to my baby that are necessary. I also want my baby to stay in the room with me and any procedures they need to do can be done in my postpartum room. I have UMR with United Healthcare Choice Plus Network.
This is my first pregnancy/baby, and I aim to have an unmedicated and minimal intervention birth in a hospital. It is important to me to have a professional experienced with natural ways to intervene with possible issues that may arrise such as baby being in an unideal position before birth, and someone who can help guide me through a natural labor.
This is my first baby. I plan to give birth at a birthing center. My estimated budget is about $800- $1,000. I think I will need guidance for labor and delivery prep more than anything since I am wanting to go unmediated.
I want to have a hospital birth but with minimal intervention unless medically necessary. My insurance is UnitedHealthcare Texas star
Woman’s hospital of Texas My budget is was my insurance, Tricare, will cover. I would like to try for an unmedicated birth, moving constantly and doing all the techniques. But my main priority is just having a VBAC since this is my second pregnancy. My first was C section due to her being breech but was disappointed that my first doc never helped me turn her at all.
I will deliver in a hospital. I have delivered 5 babies vaginally with an induction and epidural. I have not gone into labor naturally. I am concerned that another epidural would present health risks (experiencing possible nerve damage currently). I need someone that can coach me in labor and motivate me prior to labor. I have issues dialating but when dialated labor goes very, very quickly. I am unsure of the average costs of a doula, so do not have a budget yet. We have excellent conventional insurance, but will be paying all the hospital pricing, so we cannot spend a ton extra on top of that.
I’m a first time mom and in need of someone to help me through this birthing process and post birth I would like someone who not only cares for my child’s well being but for my needs as well . I’m wanting to do a water birth and don’t want many interruptions with nurses and I don’t want things done to my baby without my consent or my spouse. It’s my first time and I want to make sure I’m in great hands.
1. Home 2. 1000 3. I want to get some direction and advice on how to give birth and how to handle the pain.
Looking for L&D and postpartum. Giving birth at Houston Methodist Cypress, Texas Don’t want to spend more then $1400
Hello, I’m expecting a baby in June 2026 and planning a hospital birth. I’m seeking a birth doula who can help me design a birth plan, advocate for me during labor/delivery, and provide prenatals, birth-support, and a brief postpartum check-in. My budget is around $600 and I’m hoping to find someone experienced with hospital births and comfortable working within hospital policies. I value someone who is respectful, supportive, and aligns with my desire to feel informed and empowered. Please let me know about your packages, availability for my due date, and any sliding scale options.
