Hi, I'm Amanda. I'm a DONA International certified postpartum doula, mother of four (including a set of identical twins!), Ina Garten superfan, book lover, and shock-proof confidant. With over a decade of experience supporting families, I'm a trusted expert in newborn care and the postpartum journey. I know firsthand that becoming a mom—whether it’s your first time or your fourth—can feel overwhelming. Between the sleepless nights, conflicting advice from the internet (and well-meaning family), and the physical recovery, it’s easy for moms to feel lost in the chaos. That’s where I come in. I believe every mother deserves judgment-free support—emotional and physical—during a time when all the attention tends to shift to the baby. During my time with you, I listen deeply, tuning into each family’s unique needs during the fourth trimester, to bring calm, clarity, resources, and care when it's needed most. Whether I'm cooking the comfort meal you’ve been craving, caring for your newborn so you can recharge, offering evidence-based feeding guidance, or being a safe space to vent over coffee—I'm in your corner. After a visit, you’ll feel seen, heard, encouraged, rested (and yes, probably be laughing too). No question is off-limits. No topic is “TMI.” I am here for it all and to help you be a mother YOUR way.

Hello everyone! My name is Soleil Townes, I am the owner of Evangeline Birthing Services, which provides full-spectrum doula services to those in select counties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I have a passion for helping queer families of color have beautiful birth experiences and receive the support they need whether that is grief support or adoption support. I fell in love with birth work during my years at Montclair State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences and Human Development. While there, I took a class called “Medical Humanities” where I learned the different health disparities different ethnicities have faced in our health care system. What stood out to me was how Black birthing persons have such high birthing mortality rates. And upon further research, I stumbled upon the beauty and importance of birth work. I have always had a passion for helping queer families of color, and this shines through my work. I have over 5 years of childcare experience before becoming a doula. When I'm not working, I spend my free time expanding my hobbies: video games, reading, attending comic and anime conventions, community service, watching cartoons, and creating handmade jewelry.

I have been so blessed to have jobs I have loved all my life - wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, pregnancy care center director, lactation consultant and certified postpartum doula. It is hard to believe it has been over 48 years since nursing school. Though I would never have thought so in nursing school, my focus has always been all things moms, babies and families. This journey has taken me from basic knowledge of how babies are born to a deep respect of the profound changes that take place within the childbearing family, because we are so fearfully and wonderfully made.

Being a Doula has brought much fulfillment into Jennifer’s life. As a Birth Worker, she enjoys being able to be a source of comfort and guidance for families. Seventeen years ago, she decided to become a birth & postpartum doula after working closely for years with her own grandmother, who was a midwife. It gave her the confidence and strength to pursue birth work. Her role as a birth worker allows her to provide the support parents and babies need in order to ease the transition into the amazing life of parenthood.  She is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is currently learning ASL. Other than being a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, Jennifer also holds an Associate’s Degree in Arts & Science: Psychology, Trauma-Informed Doula, Certified Adult/Pediatrics CPR/First Aid, Certified Herbalist, and continues to extend her knowledge by attending workshops such as, Spinning Babies and Pelvic Dynamics.  Jennifer adores her role as a mother of 3 amazing children. She enjoys leading nature walks, or teaching herbalism. Jennifer has years of experience with singletons and twins as well. She finds it to be an honor and privilege to help parents entering their postpartum journey.

Hello! I’m Gabrielle. A little bit about me and what sets me apart: I am an Ayurvedic birth and postpartum doula, an Holistic Pregnancy and Birth Practitioner (HPBP), and I am in my final year of a Master of Science degree in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda Health. And, aside from all of that, I have been a career nanny for over a decade with experience working with moms and postpartum. My knowledge of this ancient wisdom of Ayurveda allows me to bring a unique approach to your postpartum by focusing on nourishment, healing, rest, + bonding. My focus is to hold you so you can hold your baby. As we enter into this sacred journey together, know that my intention during every stage is done with the utmost reverence and respect for the art of bringing new life into the world, and I am merely a bystander in your new journey to motherhood. I am so looking forward to serving you.

Gabrielle is an absolute star! My husband and I met her when I was about 5 or 6 months pregnant and stayed in touch and close until the birth of our baby girl. We’d settled on a postpartum care package which quickly began to involve overnight support and general help / care for our newborn. It was clear from the moment we met Gabrielle that her sound judgment, introspection, and thoughtfulness as a human being made up the essence of her work. Frankly, we wanted no one else around helping us and being around our new little addition to the family. Our trust in her was immense from the get go. Gabrielle is warm, generous, wise beyond her years, and always there to respect and communicate through a parent’s journey. She is honest and prizes true matches with families - like us, she is all about connecting on a deeper level. Gabrielle believes deeply in the positive of fostering positive and nurturing energy - she has a true commitment to her passion of supporting families in the greatest of life’s adventures! We have come to greatly prize her authenticity, reliability and genuine love of children (in this case, our little baby girl!). We hope this is only the beginning of years of collaboration and work with Gabrielle!

Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. I realized with the birth of my first child, that I had to include a wellness plan for my overall wellbeing. I believe we go through different journeys throughout our lives and with each journey, we face challenges. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

I am Full Spectrum Doula for three years striving to craft a practice in which I work with women during pregnancy to seek evidence-based information, and to feel capable, confident, and strong as consumers, as birthing women, and as life-givers. Regardless of their birth choices, these prenatal visits, as well as the additional communication during my clients’ pregnancies, have the potential to set women on a path of making their own decisions and trusting themselves throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period .As is so often the case with birth, things may go completely differently than envisioned. But with a strong foundation of trust in themselves, their bodies, and their supporting person going into labor, a doula can help support a woman to have a powerful birthing experience in which she is an active participant and the ultimate decision maker. How I show up for each woman in labor will be different, according to her personality, her needs, her desires, and the rest of her support team

Very knowledgeable of the information provided to my daughter via phone. Extremely considerate and understanding especially within the time constraint within the first interaction had with my daughter. My grandchild was delivered a week after the phone conversation.

I am Clarissa Alves, a certified doula and the heart behind Mooncradle Matrescence. My philosophy for birth work is rooted in bodily autonomy, informed consent, and deep respect for each family’s lived experience. As an Afro Indigenous mother, born in the Bronx and navigating the maternal healthcare system as a person of color, I understand how systems can fail families, silence intuition, and pathologize normal experiences. My work is grounded in decolonizing birth, honoring ancestral wisdom alongside evidence based care, and creating spaces where people feel seen, protected, and empowered to make choices that are right for them. I believe birth is not something to be controlled, but something to be supported, whether that looks like an unmedicated birth, a cesarean, a VBAC, or postpartum healing. My role is to hold space without judgment, provide honest education, and walk alongside families with compassion, reverence, and unwavering advocacy.

Hi I'm Chris! I'm super passionate about all things birth. I'm a birth and postpartum doula and a lactation councelor. I have 4 grown children, I was a sign language interpreter many years ago, and worked in a local church for 20 years. I was incredibly nieve and uninformed when I had my children and it is my hearts desire to support moms through pregnancy and birth as well as those first few months after baby is born. I have no preconcieved notions as to how your birth should or should not go. I believe in supporting you in the way that fits you the best while informing you of all your options. I am excited to be following my passion and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Chris was my birth doula, and let me say I would not have had the confidence to do an unmedicated birth as a first time mom without her support, knowledge, and guidance. Chris is EXTREMELY passionate about what she does and it is evident upon any interaction with her. She provided me with many tools to use not only while in labor, but also for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum. She made herself available to answer any questions I had, even post birth. She is tremendously supportive to any and all decisions you as a mom-to-be. She will not try to persuade you into something else. She makes it very clear it is YOUR birth and she is there to fully support you! If you are considering using Chris as a doula…please don’t think twice!! She is an incredible person..the sweetest woman you will ever meet and extremely knowledgeable! Thank you Chris!!!!

We had the pleasure of having Monica as our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. Monica is sweet, caring, and hard working. She supported my feeding goals, whether I wanted her to bring me baby to breastfeed or wanted her to offer baby a bottle so I could get some extra sleep. In addition to helping to care for our newborn, she was a tremendous help with cleaning bottles and pump parts and folding laundry - all the tasks that helped us focus on baby and get some extra sleep. Monica was a big help to us during the postpartum period and we gladly recommend her!

I’m Erica Castillo a full-spectrum doula, body literacy educator, and folk herbalist walking the path toward becoming a home birth midwife. I offer culturally rooted care across the reproductive spectrum, including birth, postpartum, fertility, menstruation, and reproductive health support. My practice weaves together ancestral knowledge and contemporary support, grounded in the traditional healing ways of my African and Taíno ancestors. In many traditions, midwives were more than just birth attendants, they were community healers, herbalists, bodyworkers, and spiritual guides. That legacy shapes how I show up in this work: with reverence, skill, and a deep commitment to care that uplifts the whole person. For the last 8 years, I’ve supported families with a blend of intuition, evidence-based tools, and heart. The doula meets with the birthing person and their support person to discuss their prenatal needs, birthing preferences, and birthing environment choices - home birth; birthing center; or hospital. The doula also providers referrals to the appropriate medical personnel (primary care, OBGYN, Midwife, specialists, CLC (certified lactation counselor, IBCLC ( International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), etc) when it is determined that any issue(s) are out of the scope of practice of the doula.
