Looking for a birth doula to teach a birthing class for my non profit.

This is my 3rd and final baby. My oldest is 9, I had vet at 20 years old and she was born so quickly at 9 pounds 3oz. My second was a few years later my son who was born at 35 weeks due to severe preeclampsia and it was the most traumatic experience of my life. This baby is my unexpected miracle and I’m really looking for a peaceful labor and delivery experience for this time. I’m going to be having her at Albany medical center. Both my other children I bottle fed and i really would like to try breast feeding this time. I was doing okay but now that I’m at 37 weeks it’s getting real and I’m starting to panic.

I plan on a home, water birth. I have insurance that covers doula and midwife’s.

I plan to give birth at home. I do not have a lot of money as I am a full time college student, so I’m looking for possibly insurance coverage or payment plans. I want minimal people while laboring/birthing. I have a midwife who is amazing and is going to help with my home water birth. I’m looking for a doula to be a companion to me who I get to know and trust.

I have an autistic 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son who might be autistic. I would need help with maintaining schedules and other menial tasks throughout the day. I am also looking for a night nanny to help with said toddlers and the baby throughout the night. My toddlers have been struggling with their sleep schedules and I fear it’ll be twice as hard when the baby arrives.

Hi! I'm Sarah. My husband, Caleb, and I are excited to be welcoming our second baby this November. We live in Worthington, Massachusetts, after recently moving back from Florida, where I was born and raised. Caleb grew up here in western Massachusetts, so we're happy to be closer to his family as we continue growing ours. Our first birth was a home birth that ended in an unplanned C-section, and while I'm incredibly thankful for my son and for the medical care that was available when we needed it, I'm really hoping to have a successful VBAC this time. Avoiding another cesarean is very important to me if it can be done safely, so I'm looking for a doula who is experienced with VBACs and can provide steady, knowledgeable support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. After my son's birth, I also struggled with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. This time around, I'm hoping that building a stronger support system before birth will help me have a healthier and more positive postpartum experience. I'm looking for someone who can not only support me during labor but also provide encouragement and guidance as our family adjusts after baby arrives. Things like helping clean the kitchen, keeping up with laundry, preparing freezer meals for our family, watching the baby when I need an extra hand, and help with breastfeeding since I really want to be successful in that this time around. More than anything, we're looking for a doula who is compassionate, encouraging, and committed to helping us make informed decisions while creating the best possible birth experience for our growing family.
