I am looking for an in-home IBCLC for hands-on, face-to-face guidance. I had gestational diabetes and am aiming to exclusively breastfeed. However, I am currently using a breast pump because latching is difficult and my nipples are cracked/injured. I need help with: Pain-free latching techniques so I can return to direct breastfeeding. Advice and massage techniques to help increase my milk supply. Please note that I require an in-person home visit. English is not my native language, so I will be using a translation app during the visit. Thank you for your patience!

Having my first birth this november at New York Presbyterian lower manhattan. Looking for a Doula who has a calm and supportive energy with 3+ years practicing. I would like support during birth and after as a priority and a little bit of prep before. I'd also like the Doula to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
My main question is whether his decreasing formula requirement reflects improved milk transfer from me. He had a 14–15% initial weight loss, but since supplementation began he has gained from 7 lb 4 oz on Aug 24 → 7 lb 10 oz Aug 27 → about 8 lb 1 oz on my home scale Sept 1. He is now frequently refusing or taking very small top-ups after breastfeeding. I want a weighted feed and a safe plan for tapering supplementation while protecting his weight gain and increasing my supply.

Looking for a child birth, breast feeding, and postpartum doula.
Hello! Im looking into a lactation consultation for my 1 week old newborn, preemie baby. We’re looking for some overall feeding support for our newborn. I’m currently exclusively pumping and have an oversupply, so I’d love help figuring out how to manage my supply, pumping schedule, and milk storage/tracking. We’re not particularly focused on getting him to latch/breastfeed, but would really like help with bottle feeding — finding the right bottle/nipple flow, feeding techniques and timing, and helping him take more consistent/effective feeds during the day. He’s getting enough overall across 24 hours, but tends to take smaller/inconsistent amounts during the day and make up for it at night. We’d love someone who can watch him feed and help us develop a better overall feeding rhythm.
I would like a lactation consultant to visit my home and help with latching.
