I am currently 14 weeks (due May 9th) into my first pregnancy. My husband and I are looking for a doula to assist with an unmedicated birth at Holmes Hospital. I go to HealthFirst and my doctors rotate, so any of the 6 could be there for my birth. We would love for a doula who knows us and can help assist with our birth plan and for the unexpected in the moment! We would love to schedule a consultation during the week after 5:00pm if you can be available then. We are most interested in learning more about Laboring Down, Unmedicated Birth, avoiding birth laying on the back, and delaying infant vaccinations until 2 months or later.

Someone to help support me through a un medicated birth (as long as all goes well). I had back surgery in march and am looking for someone to help support my decision for a natural vaginal birth vs an elected c section. I want someone who can guide me in new techniques for labor and delivery. I want to deliver in a hospital setting - most likely lehigh valley or st lukes.

Hi! I am seeking a doula who accepts Medicaid coverage. I’m due in just a few short weeks and would love to find a doula who is able to help me accomplish my birth preferences: - reduce likelihood of c-section, and other intervention, continuous professional support, hoping for maximal pain relief support since I don't want an epidural - help with the first feed - to have someone in my corner to translate medical jargon, relieving sense of unknown. - unless medically indicated, I plan to spend early labor at home to stay relaxed and hydrated in a familiar setting - I prefer to avoid Pitocin or artificial rupture of membranes unless there is a clear medical necessity - I wish to use upright or gravity-neutral positions for pushing to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of tearing - Immediately after birth, I request immediate skin-to-skin contact and delayed cord clamping (until it stops pulsing) - I plan to exclusively breastfeed and wish for all initial assessments to be done while the baby is on my chest if possible.

St Francis hospital . I’d like to have a natural birth barring and complications that threaten the safety of myself or baby. I believe my insurance covers certified doula care.

Baby born 37 + 3. Difficulty latching and minimal sucking seen/felt, quick to exhaust during feeding, no milk supply yet, difficulty hand expressing and pumping colostrum so far, concerns of baby not getting enough to eat and getting milk supply.

I am about 15 weeks right now. I have been waiting to get accepted by Medicaid before I began searching for a doula (not to have my hopes crushed)! I am 27, and this will be my first child. I believe I will most likely give birth at the hospital. I would like to do a natural birth, and I really want to get on top of it and get someone who I can trust to help me. Seeking a birth doula to be with me in the delivery room. I plan on giving birth at Newton Medical Center in Newton, NJ. My insurance covers this service. My birth plan is I would prefer to wait for my water to break, take an epidural, and have a vaginal birth.
