Our goal is a supported, low-intervention hospital birth, and we need continuous in-person labor support, prenatal preparation, and comfort measures. For postpartum care, we are looking for newborn feeding support, maternal recovery assistance, and familiarity with South Asian/Tamil postpartum practices. Our budget relies on Kaiser Permanente insurance coverage, so we are seeking a certified doula who is in-network, contracted with Kaiser, or experienced with Kaiser reimbursement and claims. We prefer a provider with 2+ years of experience and are fully open to doulas traveling from the Bay Area or Northern California region.
