About me

Hi my name is Virginia Horace and I am a postpartum doula! I am currently going into my 3rd semester in nursing school at mankato state university wanting to become a midwife but first be a labor and delivery nurse, supporting mothers and families navigate a beautiful transition. I have always wanted to be involved with pregnancy, women, and infants my entire life and I am grateful to be part of a compassionate and empowering community!

The services that I offer as a Postpartum Doula is: 1.) Newborn care throughout the night 2.) Feeding support (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or paced bottle-feeding) 3.) Diaper changes, burping, and soothing your baby back to sleep 4.) Washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts 5.) Light baby-related laundry 6.) Restocking the nursery and preparing for the next day 7.) Emotional support and reassurance for parents Overall, Creating a calm, peaceful environment so you can focus on healing and recovery
