5 weeks with my third baby hoping to do a natural birth at a birthing center
Im currently 4 weeks pregnant but still waiting for my next ultrasound to be sure. This is my second baby and im hoping for a VBAC. Waiting on my medicaid to be approved. Im thinking about st joe or memorial.

I plan to give birth at DuPont Hospital in Fort Wayne IN. I’m currently 20 weeks and 3 days. I do not have a birth plan yet but would love help with making one. I am a first time mom

3rd baby. Had last baby 16 months ago. Natural birth no meds, no tearing, fast birth. Used midwife at hospital but open to options. Healthy baby at birth, no complications. Gestational diabetes last part of pregnancy was managed with diet and some medication. I will be 44 at time of next birth.
Wanting to do a home birth with my 4th. I will have a doula. Used a doula with my 3rd. A hoping to budget between 3-4000 if possible. I went natural with my 2nd and 3rd tho with my 2nd I was induced because I was high risk. Low risk with my 3rd and low risk with this pregnancy. I am having a boy. But do not plan on any shots, testing, or vaccinations.
I’m currently 28 weeks along (just entered my third trimester) with my second baby. I’m looking for an out-of-hospital midwife to help me plan for my home birth and postpartum care. I delivered my first baby in a hospital and I am choosing to not go that route again this time. I had a bad experience and it was not beneficial to me, my husband, or my baby. My birth plan as of right now only consists of birthing at home with just my husband present and the midwife. I would like to broaden my birth plan with a midwife. I’m interested in having a midwife come to my house once every two weeks for now and then once a week a few weeks before I go into labor. (I’ve never had a midwife so I’m unaware of how often they work with the pregnant mothers.) I’m also interested in seeing if Medicaid covers for an in-home midwife or not, and if not what the cost would be.
I want a natural home birth, Id prefer to be covered by medicaid, delayed cord clamping/cutting, prioritzing skin to skin
I would like a hospital birth, as this will hopefully be a VBAC, so the plan is VBAC with a healthy baby.
