Hi, I’m Taylor — a birth photographer, L&D and postpartum nurse, and currently completing my birth doula certification through a deep love for supporting women through one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. My approach to birth work is rooted in compassion, advocacy, education, and genuine connection. I believe every family deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and supported - no matter what kind of birth they hope for. Whether your vision includes an unmedicated birth, epidural, induction, cesarean, home birth, or simply “please help me get through this,” I’m here without judgment and with full support for your choices. Working in labor and delivery has given me firsthand experience supporting women through both beautiful and incredibly challenging moments. I’ve seen how important calm support, reassurance, and informed care can be during labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. My nursing background allows me to bring both emotional and practical support into the space while helping families feel safe, empowered, and cared for. Alongside doula support, I also specialize in motherhood and birth photography because preserving these moments matters deeply to me. Birth is raw, emotional, powerful, and fleeting all at once - and I feel incredibly honored to document and support families through it. Outside of birth work, I’m a mom myself, which has only deepened my passion for caring for women in this season of life. I understand how overwhelming, vulnerable, magical, and identity-shifting pregnancy and motherhood can feel, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. My goal as your doula is simple: to help you feel supported, informed, grounded, and never alone throughout your journey into parenthood.

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Cheri, a full-spectrum doula, mother, and a Black woman who knows firsthand the power, beauty, and challenges of birth. When I had my first baby, I gave birth unmedicated with a midwife as a single mom. I didn’t have a doula, so I became my own. I spent my pregnancy reading books, taking notes, and learning everything I could to advocate for myself. That experience showed me just how strong and capable every birthing person is and how important it is to have support. Now, I walk alongside other families, offering compassionate, empowering, and culturally aware guidance so you can have the birth you deserve. My role is to support you, your partner, and your choices, and to advocate for you in a way I wish I had been supported myself. ☀️Hey everyone!☀️ 💗My name is Yasmine. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula who’s also completed a birth/ midwives assistant training. 💌I became doula as my love for birth began as a child. I grew up in a large family and loved watching it grow with more babies. When I had my daughter, I was on Medicaid and wanted someone personal to help guide me through birth and labor. I did not know what a doula was exactly at that time. When I got pregnant with my son, I found myself being a doula for friends and mutual friends of mine virtually(due to Covid). It was not until my doula training that I learned Medicaid covers doulas. I then took the steps to become VA state certified and accept VA Medicaid. 🎯My goal is to provide quality, compassionate, empathetic, evidence based support to women who are more likely to get taken advantage of and neglected.
