I’m 30 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have significant health anxiety and want to work with a midwife for a more personalized experience. I’m hoping to find someone that allows me to move at my own pace, when possible, and keeps me informed of options available to me. My husband and I are so excited to be parents, but I’m so terrified of the medical side of pregnancy. I hope to find someone that can be patient with me and compassionate.

We are thinking of an in hospital birth, due around May 4th. My insurance does cover a doula/ midwife so it might help if you can take insurance but I would be willing to pay out of pocket for the right person. We would also prefer an in person doula/midwife to help us in the delivery room.
