I am a Mom of 4 adult children and a Mema to 4 beautiful grandchildren. I have been a RN in Labor & Delivery, NBN, Postpartum, Antepartum and Lactation for over 30 years. I am also a certified labor and postpartum doula through CAPPA since 2021. I began my business, Mema D's Doula Services in March 2021, serving expectant and new parents throughout Central Wisconsin. I strive to educate and empower couples in anticipation of the birth experience they desire. Besides my doula certification, I am also a Lamaze certified Childbirth Educator, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a Newborn Care Specialist. I am CPR and NRP certified.

I am a mom to 2 boys. My first son was born at 33 weeks via cesarean section due to severe preeclampsia. Due to that he was in the NICU for 35 days. My second son was born via VBAC with the help of having a birth doula. My passion is to teach clients to have birth empowerment. I do this by providing them with evidence based care.
