I have been exclusively pumping for 8 months with an oversupply. I pump around 55-60 oz a day and started to wean then hit major pain and discomfort. I used to pump 6 times a day every 3 hours in a 24 hour period for 30 minutes then I dropped to 25 minutes every session then 4 days later dropped to 20 minutes then 4 days later dropped to 15 minutes. Then 4 days later I switched to 5 pumps in 24hours with 5 hours in between pumps and that’s when I start experiencing major pain. My right side produces more than my left and I started to get clogged ducts which then led to my milk getting stuck behind my nipple and causing major sharp shooting pains, inflammation and redness. My OB prescribed me 2 different antibiotics for mastitis because they weren’t sure what was causing it and those didn’t work and then I went and got an ultrasound on my breast and they didn’t find anything irregular. I’ve experienced this paid for 2 weeks and haven’t continued to wean since so currently I am pumping every 5 hours for 20 minutes and getting between 50-55oz a day. I’ve noticed everytime I get a clogged duct which it’s the same spot everytime that’s when I start to get the really awful nipple pain. I am trying to figure out how to wean to avoid further pain and clogged ducts. I am taking sunflower lecithin and I have ordered Cabo crème. Sorry if this was a lot but I’d like someone who is educated in weaning from pumping with someone who has an oversupply and gets clogged ducts often.

baby was able to go without a nipple shield for the most part using one maybe once a day but now refuses to latch on the right without a shield and will only sometimes latch on the left without a shield and I have no idea why

This is my 4th child and she latches strong, but it feels pinched and painful. I think she is lip tied and need some guidance. She seems to suck a lot of air with a pacifier

I'm looking into having a doula along for my third birth. My first two labor experiences were straightforward with a few hiccups, but I'm looking for more flexibility and agency this time around. I plan to labor at the hospital and am open to an epidural or not depending on how I'm feeling in the moment. I'd like to retain movement as long as I can tolerate it. I don't have a budget in mind right now, I'm beginning the research process.

4 day old who has a shallow and inconsistent latch. Latch is often painful. Feeds for 2-5 minutes on one side and then seems disinterested in eating for hours. It seems like he has a lot of gas and spits up immediately after eating. Hoping for an in home consultation to determine best feeding positions to help both of us. Ideally would like to go through insurance.

Want to make sure baby is eating enough with good transfer

he will not watch. He prefers a bottle and we would like to breast-feed instead of pump and bottle feed.
