I’m wanting to exclusively breastfeed. I have been pumping and bottle feeding, but my supply has dropped due to me not being able to keep up pumping on a daily basis. There’s not really anything stopping me from pumping, it’s just getting exhausted having to feed and pump and wash bottle/pump parts around the clock. So I’m wanting to know how I can comfortably breastfeed while living with others: and increase my milk supply fast.
In home lactation consultant $30-$50 a session meet until baby is latching well
Nursing and pumping guidance. Baby is 8 days old. Meeting required diaper needs but my supply seems to not be picking up.
My baby has never latched and I’d like to learn how so I can breast feed
I am looking for a breastfeeding lactation specialist certified.
I have a newborn and am looking for an experienced, certified lactation consultant. I had an emergency c section at 38w3d and tried breastfeeding in the hospital. My baby did well for the first 12 hours, but then would latch and stop sucking. I had to switch to pumping and bottle feeding while supplementing with formula. The round the clock pumping is exhausting and it’s taking a toll on my mental health. I make 13-14oz a day being 10 days postpartum and I can’t keep up with my baby’s needs. I would really like to try breast feeding again, especially for night time, and get further guidance on how to more effectively produce breast milk while pumping.
I need somewhere that accepts home state health medicaid. My baby is having trouble staying latched while breastfeeding.
I am a 22 year old expecting mom. This will be my husband and I's first baby. I am looking into having a home birth. I am currently living in Colorado and have been receiving prenatal care with my OB-GYN, but am now moving to Kansas City. I don't really know much about home birthing. I would love a female midwife who has at least a few years under her belt. My husband is going to be my doula and will be taking a class to prepare for that role. As far as birth plan, I want to do a water birth. I'm not sure what I need to prepare for that, but I do want to have a natural birth. I am willing to take emergency measures if baby or I end up needing to, but only if absolutely necessary and for life saving reasons.
24. First time mom. Want to know any useful information tips tricks for breastfeeding.
I am wanting to go natural with this birth and also learn more about lactation to produce more milk for the baby and also know what I need to care for my baby. This is my third baby so any new tips will help. I plan to birth in a hospital but be able to Manage pain better.
Unsure at this time. I know hospital will be the place or naybe a birthing center if there is any semi affordable ones.
I’m pregnant with twins and due August 9th. We live in Columbia, MO. I tried to breastfeed my firstborn, who is now two years old, but it was a nightmare. She would fall asleep instead of feeding, no matter what the lactation consultants or nurses did. I also had several very long sessions where I tried to breastfeed her but I don’t think she was getting milk. She would cry. I had to use nipples guards to help her latch but they would keep falling off. I ended up triple feeding for a while (trying to breast feed, then feeding pumped milk or if I didn’t have enough milk, feeding formula) but it was utterly exhausting. I pumped but I started producing less and less milk. I got mastitis and then shortly after my milk stopped producing. I want to try to breastfeed the twins, but I know I will need a lot of support. One of the biggest challenges in getting support last time, was that I was too sleep deprived to drive to a lactation consultant and I had no one to drive me. I would love to find someone to come to our house.
