I'm pregnant with my second child and looking to compare my options for a home birth, a birthing center, or a hospital. My first was born in a hospital with an MD, if I go to the hospital again I'm considering a CNM instead. I don't know what range of budget someone would need for a home birth or birthing center, I think my insurance will only cover expenses for a hospital birth.

I’m a first-time mom looking for both birth and postpartum doula support. I’m planning to give birth at Mercy Midwifery Center and would love someone who can provide calm, hands-on support during labor, help with comfort measures and natural pain-management techniques, advocate for my birth preferences, and support both me and my husband throughout labor and delivery. For postpartum, I’m looking for someone who can help me feel confident caring for our newborn while also supporting my recovery. I’d appreciate newborn care guidance, feeding/breastfeeding support, soothing techniques, sleep guidance, and general education about what to expect with a newborn and postpartum recovery. I’d also love practical help around the house during those early weeks, including meal prep, dishes, light cleaning, and laundry, so I can focus on resting, healing, breastfeeding, bonding with our baby, and adjusting to being a new mom. I’m especially interested in someone who is experienced, patient, supportive of natural birth, and knowledgeable about both maternal recovery and newborn care.

I need a midwife to come to my home and to be in network with Tricare. I will only be here at fort Leonard wood till middle of November. I plan at home birth but hospital if needed.

Plan to have an at home birth. Budget around 2,000-2800 ish. I only want the home birth, not the postpartum check ups really. Low intervention, I have a tub I plan to utilize. Home birth assistance or advice. I am unsure about costs but I am willing to pay what is necessary for the most natural birth possible without hospitals taking advantage of the birth of my son . I want to have him birthed at home and then taken in for his certificate . I just need assistance once he is born to make sure the mother’s health is ensured and the baby is okay after or during the birth. We have not had regular appointments as we don’t want hospital assistance with her pregnancy however we have had a couple appintments already and they said everything looks good and her iron levels are good going into the third trimester, the baby has normal chromosome levels and he has a strong heart and no irregularities during the ultrasound . Mom is healthy and baby is healthy , just looking for a helping hand during the birth!
