I'd like a doula for prenatal consultation(s), labor support, and breastfeeding education/assistance. We'd like to cap out out-of-pocket budget around $1,000, if possible. I’m planning on giving birth at a hospital. This is my first pregnancy so I am a bit confused and unsure where to start.
First time mom! Planning on an unmedicated hospital birth.
I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. I understand despite some things are out of my control, I can help myself to have a better delivery and post partum outcome. 1. Monmouth Medical Center 2. Unsure, I am looking to see if I have insurance coverage.
I'm a first-time mom and am still learning about my options. My goal is to have a positive, informed, and supported birth experience. I'm interested in having a doula provide emotional support, comfort measures, guidance for my partner and me, and advocacy during labor. I'm open to discussing pain management options and creating a birth plan together as I learn more throughout my pregnancy. I plan to give birth at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ I don't have a specific budget at this time. I'm looking for information about your services and pricing to determine the best fit for my family.
