This is my first no plans in trying to figure this out now
I need a doulas for when I go in the hospital and to help me breastfeed longer
I plan to give birth at Christiana Care in northern Delaware. I’d like to find a doula that takes my insurance and can provide the 3 prenatal, 3 postnatal visits and labor/delivery support. I’m going to be a first time, single mom by choice and am not sure who, if anyone, will be in the delivery room with me and I’d like an advocate and someone I trust to help support and help me understand what is going on and my choices in real time. I’ve also never given birth before so someone that can help me figure out what to expect, what should even be included in a birth plan and what choices or things I should consider. I’m an older mom so someone with alot of experience is appreciated, but I value personality matching and a good fit more. As a single mom I will be happy for any and all additional help someone can provide, I anticipate being very overwhelmed those first few weeks. My provider is Highmark BCBS of DE. Thank you so much!

I am seeking emotional, physical, and informational support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. I am also interested in postpartum support, including recovery, newborn adjustment, and resources to help ensure a positive birth and transition experience.
I will be giving birth at Cooper Camden. I plan to labor at home and then hope to establish a calm and comfortable environment when I transition to the hospital. I am an older mom at 35, in a higher risk pregnancy. I am looking for a doula to assist with labor preparation, to attend my labor and delivery at the hospital, and to provide postpartum and lactation support as I hope to breast feed.
