This is my first pregnancy, and I would like to receive as much help as possible to deliver a healthy baby. I want to give birth at St. Joseph's Women's and am hoping I can labor at home before transitioning into the hospital. I have pregnancy Medicaid and haven't completed my birth plan as of yet. I'm currently 26 weeks and hoping to go full term.

1. Hospital birth most likely in case of complications 2. Unsure of what the costs are for this 3. Holistic based, but not opposed to an epidural.

My baby has a hard time getting a good latch at all and needs to eat often

lactation support for potential milk transfer issue. baby not gaining weight efficiently and lost an ounce at last weight check. i’ve been pumping more often and giving him and ounce after i’m done nursing but im pumping anywhere between 5-8 ounces per pump.

I am looking for help understanding prenatal care as a mom making sure I am eating right and taking medicines only as needed. I am a first time mom pregnant with twins. I want assistance in understanding birth options, health care I can do, and preparing for breast feeding for two.

I am able to feed after frustrating struggle but I need help with better latching and positioning. My nipples are cracked and scabbed and feeding hurts. I’d like to get to a place that I can enjoy feeding my baby and not fear it.

I need to talk with someone my nipples are really painful and bleeding from nursing and im not sure what to do to heal them. I've done lanolin and its not helping.

I'm exclusively pumping, I used to have an oversupply, and now I can't even make an ounce a day. I'm desperate to increase my supply to at least be enough to feed my baby.

My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.

Latching problems, baby is hard went latch hurt a lot

I am looking for a certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to provide breastfeeding support for my newborn daughter. I would like someone experienced in assessing latch, improving milk transfer, increasing milk supply, and creating personalized breastfeeding and pumping plans. My baby is primarily breastfed with occasional expressed breast milk supplementation while we monitor her weight gain. I am looking for services that are covered by my health insurance, with minimal out-of-pocket costs if possible.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I consider high risk due to my age and weight. I’m 10 weeks, no issues or concerns at this point. I want support, education and help manage all that come my way. My max is $1500-2000

I’m looking for an IBCLC who can help me and my four day old son with breastfeeding. He knows how to latch but I have trouble settling him or waking him up or keeping him awake while he’s on my breast. I have United insurance and am looking to get it covered
