Problems with lactation my son problem latching olease help
Looking for lactation consultant and if you take anthem blue cross
I’m in need of a lactation consultant to help correct my son’s shallow latching issue. At the hospital the on call pediatrician notified me that he has a minor tongue tie. My son was born on 08/20/26, this is not my first child or first time breastfeeding but each child I’ve had has had difficulty at the breast that results in breastfeeding coming to an end rather quickly.
Wanting to do a VBAC Will deliver in Lakeland Looking for Florida Blue HMO coverage I'll be 35 when deliver
This is my first pregnancy, and I would like to receive as much help as possible to deliver a healthy baby. I want to give birth at St. Joseph's Women's and am hoping I can labor at home before transitioning into the hospital. I have pregnancy Medicaid and haven't completed my birth plan as of yet. I'm currently 26 weeks and hoping to go full term.
Output dropped after mastitis, solely pumping. Nipples really cracked
My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.
I do t know what budget to have as I do t know what is a realistic amount I really want to just have a different experience My first birth I want to be more in control and try to do no epidural and also have help learning the best breast feeding technique I’ll be wanting to give birth advent health celebration
Looking for lactation support. Baby isn’t latching on properly which is cause him not to feed well
My baby seems to have a tongue-tie and I would like for my baby to be evaluated by a specialist to assess his frenulum and discuss the next necessary steps to assist with breastfeeding. I’m in need of a specialist who is a certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) with several years of experience.
Baby is with mom but have pain and swelling of breast on day 2
Baby A can not latch, he had a severe tongue tie that was revised 8/10/26. Hes had an OT consult and doing exercises. He pushes my nipple out Baby B can latch when he wants but is lazy , he will take the letdown but when he has to work to get the hind milk he gives up and wants a bottle.
1. Hospital birth most likely in case of complications 2. Unsure of what the costs are for this 3. Holistic based, but not opposed to an epidural.
I am trying to find a doula that will create a calm environment for an at home birth
I plan to give birth at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, FL I am seeking a doula that would be covered under Tricare insurance I plan to have labor and delivery that is safest for baby. I will be using epidural. Certified doula that can advocate for my needs and help through the labor especially if it’s been a long labor. I was 32 hours in labor with my first and did not feel supported by the nurses. I am 33 and seeking a doula that can support me through every step of labor and delivery including postpartum Mainly hospital support and the night after to help with self care and breastfeeding as a lactation consultant never met me the first time.
