I have always been against being pregnant but I might need to to get the kids we want. I hate and am terrified of needles. I have had horrible Dr/hospital experience and would want to avoid at all costs. Debating an at home water birth and water has always made me feel better. I am 6 weeks pregnant for the first time, completely lost, looking for options. I want to go as naturally as possible.. I wanted a birthing center but after having found out that the options are hospital or home birth, I want to go the route of home birth. Hello, My name is Eloise; I'm 32 years old from Ohio. I'm a 2x surrogate with a total of 4 pregnancies. Deliveries are as followed 02/14/2016 emergency c-section stopped dilating at 4cm water was broke for over 24 hours resulting in me needing a c section come to find out the cord was wrapped around my daughter's neck. 08/17/2017 c section due to being over due to being a week overdue and still not dilated or thinning with my 2nd daughter 04/12/2021 planned c section because he was a surrogate baby and i didnt know i had an option to try vbac. I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with surrogate baby and would really like to try for a vbac or even a at home/water birth but I'm struggling with finding a medical professional that supports my decision after having 3 previous c sections. I don't mind traveling to meet with a new doctor if there's a chance my wishes can be honored. My intended parents support my decision and are willing to help in any way possible to achieve this. I feel like in the past I wasn't heard or listened to. Ive never had a doula before, and my intended mom suggested it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to give birth at Wooster Community Hospital. I have Ohio Medicaid or if paying out of pocket around $1000. I’d like to birth with medical intervention available but take non-intervention avenues whenever possible.

I am looking for a midwife, as I do not want to use an ob/gyn. I would ideally like to do a home birth. If for some reason I am unable to do a home birth, I want an uneducated birth, hopefully in a birth center. I would love to work with a midwife who also has nursing experience but am not completely set on it. I would like both a midwife and doula who have christian beliefs to match mine. I do not yet have an estimated budget. We are only about 4 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a midwife to schedule and ultrasound with. I already had an hcg blood test done.
