Hi, I’m Avery. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and, most importantly, a mom to two little ones who inspired my passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My own experiences with motherhood showed me just how beautiful, overwhelming, and transformative this season can be. I know firsthand how much parents want to simply soak in those newborn moments without feeling stressed, confused, or alone when feeding challenges arise. That understanding is what led me to this work. I truly believe that lactation support is not a luxury. It is a vital part of prenatal and postpartum care. Every family deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based, and affordable support during such a vulnerable and important time. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as you navigate feeding your baby. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, working through challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, I’m here to listen, guide, and help you find what works best for you and your baby.
Nourished Lactation provides personalized in-home and virtual lactation support for growing families. Services include breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support, pumping guidance, milk supply concerns, latch difficulties, weighted feeds, infant oral function assessments, prenatal education, multiples, and individualized feeding plans. My goal is to help you feel confident and supported throughout your feeding journey.
Avery is so sweet, encouraging & makes you feel comfortable! She handles your baby with care & pays attention to what you need help with. She recommended some exercises to do for my baby & advice on how to relieve some pain I had from a shallow latch. It’s also a huge plus that she will come to your home! So nice to not have to go anywhere & be in the comfort of your home.
