About Amanda

Amanda "Mandy" Wilson is a registered nurse and IBCLC whose path into lactation grew from both her work in Labor & Delivery and her own breastfeeding experience after the birth of her first son in 2015. She became an IBCLC in 2021 after several years of helping new parents with breastfeeding in the hospital setting. Mandy takes a conservative, individualized approach to feeding support. She focuses on helping families understand their options, simplify what feels overwhelming, and choose strategies that fit their goals and circumstances. She values responsive care, practical positioning support, and using feeding tools only when they are genuinely useful. Her nursing background also informs her ability to recognize when collaboration with other medical professionals is appropriate. Outside of work, Mandy is an avid runner and has spent many years meeting her running group for long Saturday morning runs.

Late Cancellation Fees

- Rescheduling within 48 hours of your visit is considered a cancellation. - More than 48 hours notice: no fee, unless there is a history of chronic rescheduling, in which case a $15 fee may apply. - Less than 48 hours: $50 (visits over 30 min), $15 (30 min visit), $50 (Combo Lactation / Chiropractic). - Less than 24 hours: $100 (visits over 30 min), $30 (30 min visit), $100 (Combo Lactation / Chiropractic). - No-show / missed appointment: the full visit fee (Full Rate). - If you are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, the cancellation fee may be waived as long as the appointment is rescheduled and takes place within 10 days.

If you do not arrive for an appointment and have not attempted to cancel the appointment, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.
