Hey there, I'm Priscilla Jackson, your go-to Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) ready to guide and cheer you on every step of your breastfeeding journey. From Cypress to Kingwood and Spring/Klein to Conroe, I'm here to offer support, encouragement, and a whole lot of love. My journey into lactation consulting was sparked by my own experiences as a young mother. When I had my son at 19, I was clueless about breastfeeding. But with the unwavering support of my son's aunt, an experienced IBCLC, we overcame every obstacle and breastfed for 3 amazing years. Her passion and dedication inspired me to pay it forward and become a lactation consultant myself. For the past 4.5 years, I've been proudly serving as a CLC, and I recently sat for the IBCLC exam in April 2024. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in empowering moms and reminding them that they're doing an incredible job, even when the journey gets tough. The most rewarding part of my job? Being your biggest cheerleader. Whether you're navigating shallow latches, nipple shields, or breastfeeding jaundice, I'm here to provide the tools, encouragement, and unwavering support you need to reach your breastfeeding goals. When you're feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, remember that it's okay to adjust your goals and take things one step at a time. And as for techniques, I'm a big advocate for baby-led latch – because there's nothing more incredible than witnessing the natural instincts of a newborn baby. Outside of work, you'll find me indulging in my love for baseball and hockey with my family, escaping into the pages of a fantasy book for some much-needed alone time, or hitting the road for some camping adventures with my closest friends.

Night/Weekend/Holiday Fee: $50

The holidays observed by Bayou City Breastfeeding and Alamo City Breastfeeding • New Year's Day • MLK, Jr. Day • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Day after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day

Late Cancellation Fees

Rescheduling within 48 hours of your visit is considered a cancellation. More than 48 hours notice: no fee, unless there is a history of chronic rescheduling, in which case a $15 fee may apply. Less than 48 hours: $50 (visits over 30 min), $15 (30 min visit), $50 (Combo Lactation / Chiropractic). Less than 24 hours: $100 (visits over 30 min), $30 (30 min visit), $100 (Combo Lactation / Chiropractic). No-show / missed appointment: the full visit fee (Full Rate). If you are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, the cancellation fee may be waived as long as the appointment is rescheduled and takes place within 10 days.

If you do not arrive for an appointment and have not attempted to cancel the appointment, you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.
