Emily Kaiser

Emily Kaiser, MSW, RLC, IBCLC is the Owner and Founder of A Mother’s Village, a thriving private lactation practice based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) — the highest credential in the lactation field — Emily blends advanced clinical expertise with a background in social work and mental health. Her care style is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and deeply compassionate. Families trust Emily for her warm presence, steady reassurance, and ability to make even the most overwhelming feeding challenges feel manageable. Her clinical expertise includes: Functional oral assessments Tongue- and lip-tie evaluation and pre/post-frenectomy care Bottle refusal and complex feeding challenges Low milk supply and oversupply Pumping plans and precise flange fitting Infant oral motor function and oral habilitation Emily has supported thousands of families across South Central Kentucky and beyond, providing in-home, in-office, and virtual lactation care. Emily earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a 4.0 GPA before opening her practice in 2020. That foundation shapes her approach today: every consultation centers the parent’s emotional wellbeing just as much as the baby’s feeding needs. She believes feeding support must be holistic, inclusive, judgment-free, and grounded in real-life practicality — because families thrive when they feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. Outside her clinical skillset, Emily brings something else into her work: lived experience. She has a complex medical history and knows firsthand how discouraging it can feel when the medical system overlooks or dismisses your concerns. That personal journey fuels her unwavering commitment to truly listening, validating, and advocating for the families she serves. Emily is also a real human behind the scrubs and certifications — and her families often say that’s what makes her care so special. She is a proud Swiftie and will happily talk all things Taylor Swift if you let her. Taylor’s music has carried her through the highest highs and hardest lows of life, and continues to fill her cup daily. She’s also a lover of comfy clothes, cozy vibes, and a no-makeup (just skincare!) lifestyle, because caring for babies — and parents — is much easier when you show up as your authentic self. Emily is a respected community leader. She founded the Feed + Nurture Donation & Financial Assistance Program, which provides free and reduced-cost lactation care and feeding supplies to families in need. She serves as a Board Member and Organizer for Bowling Green’s Promise Walk for Preeclampsia, has been recognized as a 2023 Hometown Hero, and was honored as a VIP Bowling Green “40 Under 40” for her leadership and impact in maternal-infant health. In her professional community, Emily serves as the Secretary of the Kentuckiana Lactation Improvement Coalition (KLIC), helping advance lactation support and professional collaboration across the region. She maintains active membership in USLCA, IABLE, and KLIC, and pursues ongoing advanced training, including yearly participation in the GOLD Tongue-Tie Symposium and continuing education in oral function and infant feeding science. Above all, Emily’s mission is simple: to make feeding feel calmer, clearer, and more connected for every family she serves — and to ensure parents feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported every step of the way.

Emily is amazing! She helped breastfeeding feel comfortable and made our family feel supported. She made sure to be available, especially after we had our surgery. She supported us throughout the entire healing process. We will not go to anyone else, we will be using her for any potential future problems and with any other children we have in the future. Go to Emily, you won’t be disappointed!

Hallelujah!! That’s what I shouted when I was finally able to find Beth! She has been with me through two home births and now takes care of my entire family as our Primary. Her prenatal and Homebirth care were amazing, I always felt listened to. Each visit there was respect and connection! I had a lot of opinions on what I wanted and didn’t want and she talked with me about each of them and never tried to force me to change my mind about anything. Even Vaccines!!! Leading up to my homebirths I was intimidated and spoke to her about that, she was able to point me in the right direction for resources and made great recommendations for my specific fears. When it finally came time to have my babies she was exactly the presence I needed. Hands off but there. My husband and I felt absolutely taken care of and safe. She trusted my body and helped me to trust it to. My sons labor was textbook but my daughters labor was all over the place, 1min contractions followed by 15min breaks or 30sec contractions followed by 1min break. Just all over the place. (I know I would have been given pitocin if I was in a hospital.) I was worried but she reassured me that everything was fine and sure enough my daughter came out in the exact same amount of time it took for my son! I had a 15min rest period between contractions right before the last one that got her out. They were both 6hour labors with drastically different contraction cycles and both ended with beautiful births and healthy babies! I adore her middle of the road approach to health care. She gives amazing advice on things to do for sicknesses and different issues without running to medication. Which is very important for us. Even with ADHD issues she’s given me different things to try that I had never thought of. You kind of only think medication but there’s a whole lot we could do if that’s the route you choose. Having a primary that intimately knows my kids and myself is something I thought wasn’t possible at this day and age. We are so blessed to have found her and I feel completely confident that my kids health is the most important not some agenda! We are blessed to have a Primary we COMPLETELY trust that we can run to!

With a sprinkle of warmth, a dash of expertise, and a whole lot of passion, I'm dedicated to helping families in Tomball, Spring, and Cypress thrive. My path to becoming an IBCLC was paved by my own experiences breastfeeding my children. Five years as an IBCLC and three years prior as a CLC have given me a deep understanding of the joys and challenges that come with nurturing little ones. I believe in taking a holistic approach to lactation support, seeing the breastfeeding dyad as more than just the baby. By addressing the physical, emotional, and environmental factors at play, I'm able to provide comprehensive support tailored to your unique needs and preferences. It's not just about optimizing latch and effectiveness – it's about strengthening the bond between parent and child. What fuels my fire? Katelyn Kleiber

Katelyn Kleiber, IBCLC, RLC, began working with breastfeeding families as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and lactation intern before becoming an IBCLC in 2022. Her interest in lactation grew from a longstanding interest in women’s health and the need for better support during the postpartum period. Katelyn views feeding as a relationship between parent and baby rather than a single technical skill. She considers both sides of the feeding pair, works with families to identify the factors making feeding more difficult, and develops plans that are practical and sustainable at home. A particular focus of Katelyn’s practice is the connection between feeding and sleep as babies grow. She enjoys helping families better understand how feeding patterns, development, sleep, and a parent’s own rest can affect one another. Through sleep consultations, she works with families to find realistic approaches that support both baby’s needs and the well-being of the parent. Katelyn values long-term care and the opportunity to support families as their needs change throughout infancy and beyond. Her approach is thoughtful, individualized, and centered on helping families feel informed and confident as they navigate both feeding and sleep. Katelyn currently offers virtual consultations as well as home visits in the Bryan and College Station area. Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time in nature.

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I'm Brandy, a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a passion for helping mothers and babies on their breastfeeding journey. My career in nursing began in 2006, where I initially found my calling in the labor and delivery unit. Witnessing the miracle of new life and being a part of that special moment filled me with joy and purpose. However, it was my personal experience with breastfeeding challenges that truly ignited my passion for lactation and breastfeeding support. As a mother myself, I faced hurdles and uncertainties in my breastfeeding journey that led me to dive headfirst into the world of lactation science and support. This transformative experience sparked a desire to empower and guide other mothers through their own breastfeeding challenges. Becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in January 2018 was a pivotal step in my journey, solidifying my commitment to providing evidence-based care and guidance. In late 2020, I made the decision to transition full-time into private practice, allowing me to dedicate my expertise exclusively to supporting mothers and babies in their breastfeeding endeavors. With years of hands-on experience in labor and delivery, coupled with my specialized training as an IBCLC, I bring a unique blend of medical expertise and compassionate care to every interaction. I understand the physical and emotional aspects of breastfeeding, and I am committed to providing personalized guidance tailored to each mother's individual needs. When I'm not assisting mothers and babies, my faith and family keep me grounded. I'm a proud wife and mother of two wonderful sons. My own family experiences have deepened my understanding of the complexities of parenthood and the importance of a strong support system. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to being a part of your breastfeeding adventure.❤️

Hello! I'm Tania Nuezca, and one of my passions is supporting families through their incredible journey of parenthood, particularly in the realms of childbirth education and lactation support. I would like to share my background and a little bit about myself. With over a decade of experience as a childbirth educator, I've dedicated myself to helping families navigate the exciting yet challenging transition into parenthood. Along the way, I've taken additional classes to hone my skills, delving into topics like spinning babies, rebozo use during pregnancy and labor, bengkung belly binding, and neonatal resuscitation. It's all part of my commitment to offering comprehensive support to families during this transformative time. Based in Humble, Atascocita, and Kingwood, I'm here for families in these areas and also travel out to Houston to support families, offering both in-person and virtual visits. Whether it's convenient for you to have a home, office, or virtual consultation, I'm here to provide the guidance and support families need. Beyond my childbirth education background, I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). My journey to becoming an IBCLC was inspired by my own experiences struggling with breastfeeding my three children. Through my own challenges, I developed a deep empathy for families facing similar struggles and a strong desire to provide them with the support they need from the very beginning. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in addressing the needs of the whole person. I find immense reward in helping families feel empowered and confident in their feeding choices, knowing that they have the knowledge and support to nurture their little ones. Outside of my professional role, I cherish spending time with my family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and embarking on adventures. One of my biggest passions is learning sign language for my two deaf children and to support the broader D/deaf community, from pregnancy to lactation. My current skill level is conversational sign but am working on fluency and medical terminology. When it comes to supporting breastfeeding families, I recognize the importance of involving other family members, such as partners and grandparents, in the journey. Their support is invaluable in bolstering parents' confidence and empowerment. As a mom of two children with a rare genetic condition, I've spent many hours researching. I also use this determination when supporting new families. I enjoy researching to find the right answer for you. I tailor my support to meet the unique needs and preferences of each family by starting with open communication and truly listening to their concerns. When a mother is feeling uncertain or overwhelmed about breastfeeding, I provide a compassionate ear and work with them to develop a plan that aligns with their wishes and makes them feel empowered. I often recommend techniques like baby-led latch and laid-back breastfeeding, as I've seen firsthand how these methods can help babies achieve a successful latch and make the breastfeeding journey smoother for both parents and infants. In essence, I'm here to offer compassionate, personalized support to families as they embark on the extraordinary adventure of parenthood. If you're in need of guidance or encouragement along the way, I'm just a message away. Let's navigate this journey together!

Hi! I'm Ali and am happy to meet you! Drawing from my own personal encounters with breastfeeding, I've poured my heart into guiding mamas like you. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I can't emphasize enough the importance of understanding and support during this journey. When I think about my four kiddos and the challenges I faced with tongue and lip ties, it fills me with a fiery passion to make sure no momma feels alone in her breastfeeding quest. Embracing a holistic perspective, I firmly believe that the magic lies in wholehearted guidance, not just ticking off checklists. Having had the privilege of serving as a Mother/Baby nurse at St. Luke's the Woodlands Hospital and being a part of the amazing Texas Children’s Hospital team in the Houston Medical Center, I've witnessed the immense strength and resilience of mothers and their babies. Whether it's the NICU or an outpatient clinic, every mom and babe have a unique story, and I cherish being a part of it. When I’m not in my professional shoes, I’m fully immersed in the joy of homeschooling my children and being active in our church community. And speaking of communities, BCB feels like home. The kind of warmth and support I've felt here, especially during some challenging times, is what you'd expect from close-knit family. Working with clients and building relationships with some of the finest providers has been the cherry on top. So, let's do this together, y'all! Lean on my experience, my holistic approach, and my genuine wish to see you thrive in your breastfeeding journey. Here’s to new adventures and creating cherished memories! 💙

Hello! If you're seeking a holistic, family-centered approach to lactation, infant feeding and parenting support, I'm Suzanne, and I'm here for you. My journey began in 2003 with the foundation of Merry-Go-Round in Kingwood, a haven for moms seeking both community and lactation guidance. By 2014, I was instrumental in establishing a breastfeeding-friendly environment at The Woman's Hospital of Texas. Shortly after, I teamed up with Dr. James Liu, known for his expertise in addressing oral restrictions. Together, we ensured comprehensive care for families grappling with challenges like lip and tongue ties. However, my passion didn't stop there. Recognizing the need for more tailored support, Bayou City Breastfeeding was born in 2016. We passionately believe in empowering parents, firmly holding that they are the true experts on their children. In today's often confusing landscape of parenting advice, we bridge the gap. Beyond mere lactation advice, we're here to build lasting relationships, offering insights on everything from infant feeding to mental health, viewing each family holistically to ensure everyone's needs are addressed. Professionally, I stared out as a Certified Lactation Counselor and achieved the gold standard International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant certification in 2014. I value contnuing education and have pursued additional training in numerous areas related to breastfeeding and infant feeding. Presently, I'm honored to serve as President of HALCEA, nurturing growth in the lactation community. On a personal note, I'm privileged to celebrate 24+ years of marriage and the joy of parenting. Outside of work, I relish running, reading, and painting. I'm here to stand by you, ensuring you feel valued and heard on this incredible journey.

Hey there, I'm Priscilla Jackson, your go-to Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) ready to guide and cheer you on every step of your breastfeeding journey. From Cypress to Kingwood and Spring/Klein to Conroe, I'm here to offer support, encouragement, and a whole lot of love. My journey into lactation consulting was sparked by my own experiences as a young mother. When I had my son at 19, I was clueless about breastfeeding. But with the unwavering support of my son's aunt, an experienced IBCLC, we overcame every obstacle and breastfed for 3 amazing years. Her passion and dedication inspired me to pay it forward and become a lactation consultant myself. For the past 4.5 years, I've been proudly serving as a CLC, and I recently sat for the IBCLC exam in April 2024. With a holistic approach to lactation support, I believe in empowering moms and reminding them that they're doing an incredible job, even when the journey gets tough. The most rewarding part of my job? Being your biggest cheerleader. Whether you're navigating shallow latches, nipple shields, or breastfeeding jaundice, I'm here to provide the tools, encouragement, and unwavering support you need to reach your breastfeeding goals. When you're feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, remember that it's okay to adjust your goals and take things one step at a time. And as for techniques, I'm a big advocate for baby-led latch – because there's nothing more incredible than witnessing the natural instincts of a newborn baby. So, if you're ready to embark on this beautiful journey of breastfeeding, I'm here to be your guide, your confidante, and your biggest supporter. Let's make magic happen, one latch at a time. Outside of work, you'll find me indulging in my love for baseball and hockey with my family, escaping into the pages of a fantasy book for some much-needed alone time, or hitting the road for some camping adventures with my closest friends.
