About me
My name is Ally and I am the creator of Summertime Doula services. I built this practice solely because I felt a calling to assist and support women in my community. Before becoming a Doula, I spent 5+ years teaching art to children of all ages and babysitting for families. Soon after, I trained in Newborn Care and became a Newborn Care Specialist and Night Nurse, which then led to becoming a birth Doula and soon after finding my passion for Postpartum support. Now, I am a big advocate for maternity health equity, as well as believing that all birthing people deserve hands on support.

Service introduction
As a postpartum Doula, my philosophy is "Mothering the Mother". I believe in prioritizing the immediate need for sleep, hydration and physical recovery for the birthing person. My approach is to nurture and care for mom, so they can better care for baby. I am here to hold you up emotionally, physically and mentally. I am here for call/text support if not on shift, and your closest confidant.
