My name is Aly, and I’m the proud owner of Nurturing and Nesting, a birth and postpartum doula practice dedicated to supporting and empowering mothers through every stage of their journey. I created Nurturing and Nesting to provide thorough, personalized care that helps families thrive before, during, and after birth. My mission is to educate and empower parents with the knowledge and tools they need to care for themselves and their newborns, all while honouring the sacred experience of birth. I’ve always had a deep love for nurturing, whether it’s caring for babies, toddlers, or children, or fostering meaningful relationships with friends, family, and even pets. I truly believe that with the right mindset, atmosphere, and support, birth can be a transcendent experience, one that leaves a lasting, positive impact on both parents and their little one. My 4-hour postpartum support sessions are designed to give you the care and peace of mind you deserve. Overnight Postpartum Care

8 Hour Night Shifts So You Can Rest, Recharge, and Recover Schedule an overnight postpartum support shift and enjoy peaceful rest while I take care of your newborn - feeding, changing, soothing - and handle household chores, all without disturbing your family's sleep. If you're breastfeeding, I'll bring baby to you for feeds, so you can comfortably nurse from bed and then roll back to sleep while I ensure baby is changed and settled back down. Alycia came into my home postpartum to help me both with childcare and some small housekeeping. Her experience with children speaks for itself. She’s not only kind, patient, and compassionate, she’s also naturally comfortable caring for children. Having a support in your home postpartum that is strictly there to support you is an invaluable experience. Having not only help with my baby and some help cleaning up, but also just a nonjudgmental, knowledgeable source to speak all things postpartum to, really lightened the postpartum mental load.
