About me

Hello! My name is Amy. I am a passionate advocate for birth and believe in supporting every woman's choices in birth and beyond. I adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each family. I have over 25 years of experience as an early childhood educator, childbirth educator, and both labor and postpartum doula. While supporting each family, I focus on a holistic approach, including physical, emotional, and informational support. My love for children began at an early age, and I pursued my education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I spent many years in the classroom, building relationships with families and educating young minds. I continued my passion by becoming q Certified Childbirth Educator with Lamaze, DONA trained and ProDoula Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, VBAC Doula, Certified Carseat Tech, and has also trained with Spinning Babies as a Parent Educator This training has taught me how to help women optimize fetal positioning during pregnancy and birth, reduce discomforts during pregnancy, and make the birthing process less painful. My passion for advocacy and supporting mothers started when I became pregnant, navigated motherhood, and raising children. I value time with her grown-married children, grand children, and husband. I loves outdoor activities including raising animals, growing a garden, hiking, and enjoying life barefoot. My faith is essential to her, and her love for learning never ends. My life experiences will provide you with a knowledgeable, caring advocate on your journey to parenthood. I am passionate about Supporting Strong Women, Tiny Humans, and Growing Families.
