I have a lifelong passion for assisting others, which began when I attended college to study Human Services. This path led me to roles such as Social Worker, Family Support Specialist, and Home-based Case Manager, among others. Throughout my career, I’ve always felt compelled to support pregnant women and care for infants, fueling my desire to become a doula. Hello, my name is Carolina Campos. I’m 21 years old and come from a close-knit Mexican household. My Catholic faith is an important part of my life and shapes the way I care for others with compassion and responsibility. I started babysitting when I was just 10, and by the age of 19, I began working professionally with families. I’ve also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing facility, where I provided hands-on care and support to elderly and vulnerable patients. After stepping away from college, I chose to focus on what I truly love — working with children. That decision led me to nanny full-time, which has been both fulfilling and a great learning experience. Hello my name is Emma Maxey and I have been a certified birth doula for about two years. I am located in the Plainfield, IN area and eager to support expecting parents! I have great experience with pregnancy, with myself having naturally birthed my first three children (two of which are twins) and my last baby which I birthed prematurely via c-section. I have also helped clients achieve their desired birth outcome. My personal focus is on the importance of providing clients with informed consent so that we can achieve their perfect birth experience. It is also important to me to provide support to those that are experiencing pregnancy complications, as this group of people need extensive support where they may not be getting it. I have experience in bereavement care as well. I have also been working as a breastfeeding counselor.
